Asian manufacturers have been using coal in their factories, and given they produce the world with most of our produced items, giving them the option to buy Canadian Natural Gas , and move away from coal. The reduction in emissions from creating lithium based batteries that fill our subsidized electric cars would truly make them a lower carbon footprint than any Petro based car.
