I am really just centrist on most issues. While one must be able to prove that gay marriage is legal, one should also be able to prove why it shouldn't be... I mean, I might be straight, but I'm totally fine with my sons, neighbours, or leaders being gay.

Infectious disease can come from anywhere, most commonly by the process of mutation and zoonosis. If you are referring to the spread of disease, there are much more pervasive vectors for infection.
