Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Social › Abortion
8>8 Personal answerPro-choice |
Healthcare › Mental Health
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Armed Teachers
8>8 Personal answerNo, this would increase the risk of accidental shootings |
Social › LGBT Adoption Rights
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Government Surveillance
8>8 Personal answerNo, and enact legislation preventing government surveillance of citizen communications |
Healthcare › Prescription Drugs
8>8 Personal answerHave work provided drug plans or have employers pay into a plan so everyone can have generic drugs. But not all drugs, have a certain list. Some of these specialized crazy 500$ A pill ones, no |
Social › Gay Marriage
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › Healthcare Funding
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Social › Gender Identity
8>8 Personal answerNo, how about we are all “human.” Why does it have to be so technical. I think people want more boxes, more confusion to put us in, a larger divide. We need unify, not separating us further and further from each other. Social media has already done that so successfully. People want to feel special, and that they are different and somehow disadvantaged or unique and have a reason to complain, or point the finger at someone. Less boundaries, less boxes, more leading with love and kindness. Your a person, I’m a person that’s it. We should be equally treated if we are purple, green or blue, male, female, cis, etc. Less boxes, not more. We are to divided, we need to come together, regardless of who we are. This should not be the focus of our politics. How about children need to eat, let’s clean up the environment to pass it to other generations to enjoy, how about collaboration? |
the Economy › Taxes
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Foreign Policy › Mandatory Military Service
8>8 Personal answerNo, service should be a choice instead of an obligation |
Education › University Tuition
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Social › Hate Speech
8>8 Personal answerYes, because I don’t trust the government to define the boundaries of hate speech |
Social › Gender Workplace Diversity
8>8 Personal answerYes, and the government should do more to require diversity in the workplace |
Healthcare › Dental Coverage
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Minimum Wage
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Social › Euthanasia
8>8 Personal answerYes, and I think people should be able to create living wills to carry out their wishes, despite families intervention. Respect living wishes not to suffer, when that person is of sound mind to say “hey please don’t let me suffer and die, please pull the plug and let me go peacefully. Please don’t let me die in pain.” . No one wants to be in pain and suffering and crying out. Families are too scared to say they let them go. What’s another day of life if your not living, expected to go long and painfully. We need to be compassionate to those who are in pain and terminally ill. If it’s inevitable and expedited to save that persons dignity and soul, then we should allow it. |
Healthcare › Single-Payer Healthcare
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Citizenship Test
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Gun Control
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Universal Basic Income
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Deporting Criminal Immigrants
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Corporate Tax
8>8 Personal answerWe need to become attractive for entrepreneurs. Dublin Ireland has a 6% corporate tax, hence why they have brought in more money in their banking sector. Instead of it being a one size fits all, what about if it’s gradual the same a personal taxes. Lower rates for businesses that try to have better paying jobs, or have health benefits. Incentify employers to be better employers to their employees with attractive rates based on initiatives, retraining, good pay, equal opportunity etc |
the Environment › Environmental Regulation
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Immigrant Assimilation
8>8 Personal answerYes. Also I think there should be a greater push on French for all Canadians to in our education system. |
Healthcare › Healthcare Privatization
8>8 Personal answerA 2 tiered system. Have some private hospitals, but the revenue created could be put into the public system. It can pay doctors a percentage more wages but not highly inflated, that way private hospitals can’t poach all the public ones away. I think people who know the system abuse it. The hospital is Healthcare, not life care. By life care I mean, seniors should not be dumped by their families and refuse to pick them up. Hospitals are becoming more like “long-term cares.” The problem is they are old, not sick. People need to save for their retirement. Everyone is born, everyone dies. The cycle of life. I think there needs to be some help for seniors. But I think to many people avoided saving for life after Retirement.. Retirement age should not be limited to 65, people are living longer now, this needs to be a factor. if someone wants to work to 75 and is healthy, we should let them. There should be protections, so families can’t steal seniors money. The money they have should be allocated for their Retirement,, so they can live comfortably with what they have saved. |
Social › Death Penalty
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only for horrific crimes with undeniable evidence |
the Environment › Logging
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Social › Transgender Athletes
8>8 Personal answerNo, athletes should compete based on the biological sex that is listed on their birth certificate |
Social › Niqāb
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Social Media Regulation
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Crime › Private Prisons
8>8 Personal answerNo, private prisons will sacrifice quality of care and rehabilitation services for profit |
Immigration › Immigration
8>8 Personal answerYes, but make the process easier for skilled workers |
Healthcare › Healthcare
8>8 Personal answerProvincial, but with federal funding and regulated standards |
Immigration › Muslim Immigrant Ban
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Net Neutrality
8>8 Personal answerNo, treat all traffic equally and continue the openness of the internet |
Foreign Policy › Foreign Elections
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Social › Women in Combat
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Renewable Energy
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Universal Child Care
8>8 Personal answerI think it should be subsidized up to 150k in earnings between families |
Domestic Policy › Native Funding
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Foreign Policy › United Nations
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Crime › Drug Trafficking Penalties
8>8 Personal answerNo, rehabilitation programs. There is a reason someone turned to that, maybe they had no other opportunity. Poor upbringing etc. |
Domestic Policy › Drug Policy
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Elections › Criminal Politicians
8>8 Personal answerIt depends on the severity of the crime, and when it happened. If you were 15 years old and made a mistake, people make mistakes. As long as they have learned and grown. |
Healthcare › Safe Haven
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › Vaccine Passports
8>8 Personal answerYes, as long as they are not mandatory |
Elections › Campaign Finance

Immigration › Skilled Immigrants
8>8 Personal answerIncrease |
the Economy › Welfare Drug Testing
8>8 Personal answerNo, this is a waste of time and money |
the Environment › Plastic Product Ban
8>8 Personal answerI think Canada should be moving to sustainability and recycling. Model ourselves after Germany and the Nordic countries who have recycling right and have made many advancements. I think canada is severely lagging in this sector. More jobs would be created, creating a sustainable system. Our garbage system is out of hand. |
Elections › Electoral Reform
8>8 Personal answerI think you should be able to vote for who you want as your riding representative and be able to vote for who you want on a federal level. |
the Environment › Fracking
8>8 Personal answerIt’s bad for the environment but it would be a heavy loss of jobs. Oil is necessary currently until there is another alternative. Maybe for x amount of oil produced have x amount of trees replanted. |
the Environment › Animal Testing
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › Marijuana
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Whistleblower Protection
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Northern Gateway Pipeline
8>8 Personal answerDo it or don’t. This back and forth is a waste of money. Either get it done, because we still use fossil fuels or abandon it entirely towards a 100% shift to natural resources. |
Crime › Parole Hearings
8>8 Personal answerI think it should be a rehabilitation model. Finland has the best prison system. It’s unorthodox, but they have the lowest re-incarceration rate. In the end rehabilitation cost most initially, but saves more tax payer dollars with less re-incarceration. Pay it forward to do it right the first time. |
the Economy › Labor Unions
8>8 Personal answerHelp |
Elections › Right of Foreigners to Vote
8>8 Personal answerA citizen or a PR resident for 7+ years |
Elections › Prime Minister Term Limits
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Elections › Campaign Finance
8>8 Personal answerI think it should be transparent who is donating. When it is of large sums of money. |
the Economy › Economic Stimulus
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Crime › Demilitarize the Police
8>8 Personal answerYes, only in severe situations. Example: mass terrorism event, and where they are working along side special units of the military as backup in these events. |
Crime › Defunding the Police
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Housing › Home Buyer Incentives
8>8 Personal answerYes, I think it’s challenging for young people today to buy a home. With the government granting faster citizenship to foreigners who purchase a home over $850,000 or bring in 1.2million cash. I think there should be some kind of program for young people (millennials) to enter the market. The conditions of employment, and cost of living are higher, and millennials and younger generations have had it more challenging than previous generations. |
the Environment › Local Environmental Guidelines
8>8 Personal answerI think we should do better than the requirements |
the Economy › Welfare
8>8 Personal answerI think UBI- universal basic income would cover that. |
Elections › Minimum Voting Age
8>8 Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Government Spending
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Worker Strikes
8>8 Personal answerNo, nurses aren’t allowed to strike. You can strike in your off time |

the Economy › Domestic Jobs
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Science › Nuclear Energy
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Elections › Candidate Transparency
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Housing › Non-Resident Real Tax
8>8 Personal answerForeign buyers tax, similar to Costa Rica. If you don’t live in the country it’s higher and are not a citizen 20%, if your a Permanent resident it’s a little lower, and if your a citizen it should be the same as everyone else. |
Foreign Policy › Foreign Aid
8>8 Personal answerDecrease, until we drastically reduce our national budget deficit |
Domestic Policy › Flag Burning
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Education › Postsecondary Education
8>8 Personal answerFrance has an amazing education system for the youth. Moving towards that model. No private schools, so the rich are forced to donate money to the government to ensue there child has a good education. In the end all children benefit from this. Education is very important. All children are provided at lunch at school. Less stress for parents packing lunches, no food shaming -for those that are less fortunate. No child should go hungry. What’s the point of paying for a child to go to school and have an expensive education, if they can’t concentrate because they are hungry. |
Transportation › Public Transportation
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Dual Citizenship
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › Bill C-51
8>8 Personal answerNo |

8>8 Personal answerYes, except for felons convicted of murder or violent crimes |
the Economy › Offshore Banking
8>8 Personal answerYes, as long as offshore income is reported |
the Economy › Bonus Cap
8>8 Personal answerThey should be capped. Percentage wise of pay is arbitrary. Is there value to shareholders, person affiliation. We need to stop corruption. |
the Economy › Tech Monopolies
8>8 Personal answerI think they are a monopoly. I think there needs to be better regulations for workers. Maybe when a company has “x” percentage of profits it should be required to re-invested in employee initiatives and aid, health insurance, pension plans. I think employees are not just numbers for profits. I think people should be paid well and employee health should matter. But the man/woman on the top of the organization should definitely make more than the bottom line worker. But the top man shouldn’t be making so much, that it effects the health of the bottom employer, that gets “squeezed” financial and physically to reach targets. That’s not right. |
the Economy › Government Pensions
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › CBC Funding
8>8 Personal answerYes, I think it’s important to have writers and proper news. To much fake news out there. |
Domestic Policy › Senate
8>8 Personal answerElect |
Domestic Policy › Political Advertising on Social Media
8>8 Personal answerYes, I think it should be regulated. Most people obtain there news via social media. It shouldn’t be target marketed though. They shouldn’t be able to have an algorithm to plant seeds in particular target markets. No vote swaying. |
Crime › Prison Overcrowding
8>8 Personal answerI think we should switch to Finland’s model. Our system for incarceration is broken. |
the Economy › Bitcoin
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Pension Premiums
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Sanctuary Cities
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Education › Charter Schools
8>8 Personal answerNo |
the Environment › Corporate Subsidies
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Long Form Census
8>8 Personal answerYes, Only if it’s cost effective and provides insight how to better help Canadians and financial puts us ahead as a country. If not, no |
Domestic Policy › Copyright
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › CSA Funding
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Transportation › Commercial Drones
8>8 Personal answerI think there are a lot of rural communities that could benefit from the use of drones. Land locked communities, poor road access. Alternative drone use: hospital needing to send blood to other campus for testing as no lab on site to process. Faster delivery times. |
