Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Social › Abortion
T>T Personal answerPro-life; But the most controversial decisions in our society, including abortion, should be left for the people of each state to regulate as they see fit. |
Healthcare › Mental Health
T>T Personal answerNo, incentivize private companies to address this issue instead |
Domestic Policy › Armed Teachers
T>T Personal answerYes |
Social › LGBT Adoption Rights
T>T Personal answerNo |
Social › Gay Marriage
T>T Personal answerTheologically, I believe marriage can only be between a man and woman. However, the people, by way of their representatives, can determine how society will interact with the institution; it will not change it fundamentally. Given such, I would vote that it should be recognized only between a man and woman. Regardless of it's legal status, the LGBT community should be treated with respect and dignity and should not be discriminated against in regards to employment, housing or other basic rights and services. Those who have a genuine disagreement with the same sex marriage, especially due to religious reasons, should not be forced to support it. |
Social › Gender Identity
T>T Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Taxes
T>T Personal answerAbolish the income tax, disallow all deductions and increase the sales tax |
Foreign Policy › Mandatory Military Service
T>T Personal answerOne or two years service, yes, but other types of service should be allowed. Fire, paramedic, and teaching should also be allowed as acceptable forms of service. |
Social › Hate Speech
T>T Personal answerYes, because I don’t trust the government to define the boundaries of hate speech |
Social › Gender Workplace Diversity
T>T Personal answerNo, board members should be the most qualified regardless of gender |
the Economy › Minimum Wage
T>T Personal answerNo, and eliminate all wage standards |
Social › Euthanasia
T>T Personal answerNo, but they should be allowed to refuse artificial life support |
Healthcare › Single-Payer Healthcare
T>T Personal answerNo, the government should not be involved in healthcare |
Immigration › Citizenship Test
T>T Personal answerYes, and states should increase the requirement for citizens to learn and study our history, government, and geography in schools and universities. |
Domestic Policy › Gun Control
T>T Personal answerNo, not until existing laws are enforced and federal databases are properly maintained. Restrictions and requirements should continue to be leveled at the state level. There should be a higher level optional license or certification that, once obtained, would permit an individual to carry concealed nationally. A ban on assault weapons would not significantly curtail gun violence since most of it is perpetrated using hand guns. |
the Economy › Universal Basic Income
T>T Personal answerNo, this will encourage people not to work and harm economic growth |
Immigration › Deporting Criminal Immigrants
T>T Personal answerYes, but after they have finished serving their sentence |
the Economy › Corporate Tax
T>T Personal answerBalance the budget, then we can talk about whether and how to finance tax cuts. |

Foreign Policy › Taliban Financial Aid
T>T Personal answerNo |
Social › Women in Combat
T>T Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › United Nations
T>T Personal answerYes |
Crime › Drug Trafficking Penalties
T>T Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Drug Policy
T>T Personal answerIf someone wants to waste their life on drugs, that is their prerogative. Although I believe it is morally wrong to abusively consume any substance, I am indifferent to whether it is legally permitted or not. Legislating against it will not prevent controlled substances from being abused and can increase one's susceptibility by bringing abusers into contact with more aggressive dealers in prison. At the same time, there are those that will not consider the consequences of abusive consumption if not confronted with criminal sentences. Substances that have legitimate medicinal benefit can be permitted. But at a minimum, drug use should be heavily regulated and consumption while operating machinery, driving a motor vehicle, or participating in other criminal activity should be considered attempted assault with a deadly weapon and prosecuted harshly. Those caught selling outside authorized channels or with unapproved substances or of insufficient quality should be subjected to severe criminal and civil liabilities. |

the Environment › Plastic Product Ban
T>T Personal answerNo |
the Environment › Fracking
T>T Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Animal Testing

Housing › Homeless Encampments
T>T Personal answerIndividuals have a right to traverse and loiter on public property, regardless of whether they are homeless or not, so long as they are not damaging property or otherwise depriving the rest of the public of their ability to enjoy those spaces safely. Large groups of people creating "pop-up villages" within a space not designed and designated for the purpose create a hazard for those living there, deprive the rest of the general public of its use of the property, and can create an undue and unintended burden on surrounding infrastructure. I support the rights of individuals to traverse and loiter as well as the rights of local governments to protect public assets and ensure public safety. |
Healthcare › Marijuana
T>T Personal answerI don’t care |
Domestic Policy › Whistleblower Protection
T>T Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Labor Unions
T>T Personal answerThe rights of individuals to assemble and assert themselves against oppressive governments are well established in our society; whether that governing system is national or a private entity is in my opinion irrelevant. However, I believe that many unions fail to see the big picture and do cause harm to the larger economy. No individual should ever be forced to join a union or pay dues and using company or union time for political lobbying should be viewed as theft. |
Elections › Right of Foreigners to Vote
T>T Personal answerNo |

Healthcare › World Health Organization
T>T Personal answerYes, but only in an amount sufficient to acquire "soft power". Most of our policy making should reside at the state and local levels. |
Crime › Criminal Voting Rights
T>T Personal answerYes, but only after completing their sentences and parole/probation |
the Economy › Offshore Banking
T>T Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Tech Monopolies
T>T Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Government Pensions
T>T Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Political Advertising on Social Media
