Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Social › Abortion
8>8 Personal answerPro choice - but as a last resort. Better education on this subject is needed. As a person who has gone through an abortion I can promise you there is not proper counselling. You should have to give all your reasons why you want the abortion and you should have all your other options laid out for you with resources to obtain those options (ie adoption, welfare, women fleeing abusive relationships, employment opportunities etc etc). The women should also have to go through education on what they do to the fetus before, during and AFTER the abortion so they are fully aware to what they are doing. If after all of that they still want to do it then they should still have a choice but the way it’s done now is not appropriate. It’s too easy and too many people rely on it as a form of birth control. Birth control should also be available over the counter without a prescription so teens can comfortably and responsibly get it without the fear of their parents (if that is an issue). There should be more preventative measures taught in school and maybe more affordable options for teens to obtain condoms or birth control. Prevention and education is key to the most moral option. |
