Healthcare › Healthcare Funding
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Taxes
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Education › University Tuition
8>8 Personal answerI think education should be achievable by all. I also believe that those who have more than others can afford to pay more than others. How does someone with one dollar ever compete with someone who holds one million dollars. |
Healthcare › Dental Coverage
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Minimum Wage
8>8 Personal answerI dont think the issue is the amount we receive from employers but the amount demanded from us for our everyday needs and wants. Eveytime minimum wage increases it seems like everything costs ten times more but for those of us who were not making minimum wage our wages did not increase. I have watched minimum wage slowly creeping up to my wage as a ticketed tradesman and I have watched the cost of living skyrocket but tradesman wages have not changed much over the years. |
Domestic Policy › Gun Control
8>8 Personal answerNot sure |
Immigration › Deporting Criminal Immigrants
8>8 Personal answerNo |

Crime › Drug Trafficking Penalties
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Drug Policy
8>8 Personal answerI do not believe we should condone or support drug abuse but we should not be funding police, jails, courts, ect. to deal with someone who has a substance dependency problem. |
Elections › Criminal Politicians
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Plastic Product Ban
8>8 Personal answerNot sure |
Crime › Parole Hearings
8>8 Personal answerI don't think any certain amount of time determines whether one is rehabilitated. I also don't think our justice system is actually capable of rehabilitation but that it only serves for what it calls itself and that name is "Justice". I am not sure it is true justice as it only serves the victims or those who oppose the action and demand consequence. I think we really need to look at the fact that these murderers and other offenders are and will be living amongst us and we should be ensuring that corrections are not condemnations. How do we expect change from the convicted or how can someone pay a debt to society and that debt be considered "paid in full"with the current justice system? |
Elections › Right of Foreigners to Vote
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Crime › Demilitarize the Police
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only in response to extreme situations |
Housing › Home Buyer Incentives
8>8 Personal answerI think all Canadians should be able to choose to become homeowners. Many Canadians will be forced to remain tenants their entire lives. Not qualifying for a mortgage means paying off other peoples investments for ones entire life with nothing to reap afterwards. |
Crime › Defunding the Police
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Elections › Minimum Voting Age
8>8 Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Government Spending
8>8 Personal answerNo, reduce military spending instead |
Science › Nuclear Energy
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Housing › Non-Resident Real Tax
8>8 Personal answerYes, and the tax should be at least 10% |
Education › Postsecondary Education
8>8 Personal answerFederal |
Transportation › Public Transportation
8>8 Personal answerNot sure |
Foreign Policy › Bill C-51
8>8 Personal answerNo, it is a slippery slope towards a police state |
Crime › Criminal Voting Rights
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Crime › Prison Overcrowding
8>8 Personal answerI think jails are the question here, not the people in jail. Do jails really help society or do they make society worse? Yes, I believe that if someone is a threat to others they need to be kept from commiting harm. It is how we treat a person who is "locked up" that I believe is the issue. The way jails operate today we cannot expect to see anything produced other than hardened criminals in my opinion. The current system has nothing to do with correction and only serves to impose punishment and condemnation. So to answer the question, it is not a matter of who should be kept in jail but how we deal with people who break the law. It requires much more than just determining weather or not someone can be classified as violent or non-violent and more to do with the system as a whole. |
Education › Charter Schools
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Transportation › Commercial Drones
8>8 Personal answerYes |
