8>8 Personal answerI would like to keep the hospitals the way they are and add private hospitals. I think it would be nice if you have benefits to get quicker and better service at a private hospital; however, it's important that we don't decline in public service as it is a very special and important component to canadians to have free health care. All in all more options wont hurt as long as the public sector does not decline. |
Immigration › Immigration
8>8 Personal answerI think we should continue to let immigrants in the country but we need to take into account where we are as Canadians before we can help our neighbors. I am all for helping immigrants but only once all Canadians have what they need. I don't like seeing the homeless sleeping outside all year because our shelters are full but instead our government ignores them and brings in new people to help with our budget. Imagine country's like a suburb neighborhood, you have 3 kids in your house and the neighbor has two. One of your kids is hungry and one of your neighbors kids are hungry. Who would you feed first? Imagine you went next door to feed your neighbors kid while your kid remains hungry without resources. To me, this is what the country is doing when they help others before their own. So, my stance would be to allow them in based on our position as a country. Are we in a position to help others at this time or no? |
