Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Social › Abortion
L>L Personal answerPro-choice, but ban after the first three months. Always allow in cases of danger to the mother or child. Also, I believe that providing birth control, sex education, and more social services is important and will help reduce the number of abortions. I am opposed to abortion in all circumstances. However, the idea of re-traumatizing children and women who have been subjected to rape or incest, who, unlike those who become pregnant through casual sex, did not choose to engage in a risky behavior, does not sit well with me. Forcing a girl between the ages of 9 and 11 to have a baby, the consequences of which could leave her not only traumatized but barren, does not sit well with me. At the end of the day, these decisions are complex and during the early stages of pregnancy should be left to females, their families, and their doctors. |
Healthcare › Mental Health
L>L Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Armed Teachers
L>L Personal answerNo, this would increase the risk of accidental shootings |
Social › LGBT Adoption Rights
L>L Personal answerYes |
Social › Gay Marriage
L>L Personal answerYes |
Social › Gender Transition
L>L Personal answerYes, but only for non-surgical treatments such as puberty blockers and hormone therapy |
Social › Gender Identity
L>L Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Taxes
L>L Personal answerYes, but simply to ensure that the wealthy pay their fair share. It is absurd that major corporations, such as Amazon and Walmart, pay no or little federal income taxes, while the average American foots the bill. All existing tax loopholes for large corporations should be closed. This would generate sufficient revenue to fund education, healthcare, and social programs such as increased student loan forgiveness, paid family leave, and universal Pre-K. |
Social › Gender Workplace Diversity
L>L Personal answerNo, the government should never require the diversity of private businesses |
Social › Euthanasia
L>L Personal answerYes, but only if there is no chance they will survive their illness, and only after a psychological examination to show they fully understand this choice. I personally disagree with euthanasia, but it should remain a personal choice. |
Healthcare › Single-Payer Healthcare
L>L Personal answerYes, but allow people to use private insurance |
Domestic Policy › Gun Control
L>L Personal answerYes, close the gun show loophole and require universal background checks. |
the Economy › Universal Basic Income
L>L Personal answerNo |
Immigration › Immigrant Assimilation
L>L Personal answerNo, we should embrace the diversity that immigrants add to our country |
Healthcare › Vaccine Mandates for Customers
L>L Personal answerYes |
Social › Death Penalty
L>L Personal answerNo |
Social › Transgender Athletes
L>L Personal answerYes, but only for those participating in non-professional sports and whose hormone levels are equivalent to those in the gender category in which they compete. I believe that transgender women should not be allowed to compete on gender-based teams in high-stakes competitions such as the Olympics. According to current research, even after undergoing hormone therapy, trans women retain an advantage in muscle mass and strength. These long-term studies clearly show that transgender women would have a competitive advantage when participating in the female category of sport. |
Domestic Policy › Social Media Regulation
L>L Personal answerNo, social media companies are private and should not be regulated by the government |
Social › Women in Combat
L>L Personal answerYes |
Crime › Drug Trafficking Penalties
L>L Personal answerNo, I do not believe in the death penalty |
Domestic Policy › Drug Policy
L>L Personal answerNo, only for marijuana; also increase funding for addiction prevention and rehabilitation |

the Economy › Welfare Drug Testing
L>L Personal answerNo, this is a waste of time and money |
Healthcare › COVID Employment Health Pass
L>L Personal answerNo, I think businesses should require vaccination but not by government mandate |
Healthcare › Marijuana
L>L Personal answerYes, but only for medical use; decriminalize possession of small amounts, and expunge the records of those convicted and incarcerated for marijuana possession. |
Elections › Right of Foreigners to Vote
L>L Personal answerNo, only legal citizens should be allowed to vote |
Elections › Minimum Voting Age
L>L Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Government Spending
L>L Personal answerNo, cuts to public spending will negatively affect the economy |
Elections › Candidate Transparency
L>L Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Flag Burning
L>L Personal answerNo, I don't agree with anyone doing that but they should have the right to do so |
Transportation › Public Transportation
L>L Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › World Health Organization
L>L Personal answerYes |
Crime › Criminal Voting Rights
L>L Personal answerYes, except for those convicted of murder or violent crimes, and only after completing their sentences and parole/probation. |
Education › Charter Schools
L>L Personal answerYes, but not at the expense of funding public schools. State funds should be directed toward improving our public schools, education programs, and increasing teacher wages. |
