Social › Abortion
8>8 Personal answerPro-choice |
Social › LGBT Adoption Rights
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › Prescription Drugs
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Social › Gay Marriage
8>8 Personal answerYes, but allow churches the right to refuse same-sex ceremonies |
Healthcare › Healthcare Funding
8>8 Personal answerHealthcare has become huge, as the baby boomer generation has put much demand on this topic...... I realize medical and healthcare is imperative and tax dollars are stretched thin, but rather than importing immigrants to buy votes, try to ensure your country is well taken care of first!!! We could use professionals if any immigrants came here First, then maybe we would have more tax money to invest in OUR systems, including healthcare rather than funding medical, housing, creating jobs, food and clothing etc. For Trudeau's 400,000 migra t's imported at tax payer expense just so he has more votes!!!!! Take the cost of them and apply it to Canadians who worked and now need help as seniors, or young people/families trying to survive in this mess.... Then consider importing others..... Clean up our own backyard then perhaps there will be more focus ability to help others..... If our gov. Gave a hoot about citizens who worked hard and helped build this country, they would have subsidies or help in housing, food and comfy living for them first.... Churches pay no taxes or very little..... And count on their congregation in assisting migrants' coming here..... Why is it just them to help locals or migrants, where is our government, they get paid WL to Represent, so need more from them and for healthcare.... Has to be some stipulations around our country's services until you have job and fulfill time here, unless your job has medical.... Some migrants come and get meds, Dr's visits, operations, etc. Everything they could not get in their country, but places huge burden on our system and born here citizens have so much trouble for healthcare..... Not sure that is fair AND this immigrants have not paid any taxes or supported our country at all??? They have to change this system to better serve ALL, for darn sure other countries won't look after me, if I went there!!!!!! |
the Economy › Taxes
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Education › University Tuition
8>8 Personal answerI realize costs are huge with facilities, but it has become like sports, doesn't matter you could be fantastic if you have money for all these academies, you never go any ware.... Money is dictating who gets opportunity.... If post secondary of good quality was available to everyone, perhaps we could be educated iat secondary and gain well paying jobs /careers, purchase homes and contribute to Canadian economy, just as sports.... Some of the best athletes are crushed by poverty, not by skill, as selection tend to focus only on money paying academies, some of the incredible athletes are excluded, not bec of skill, but bec. Of money, same with post secondary..... Many intelligent are poor and do not want to incur astronomical debt for school then life, check out Norway..... Post secondary should be open to all Canadians if they choose, then maybe we could produce some great professionals who are passionate about their future, not just if you have money or not to go to post secondary, also in Norway, medical and dental for citizens....... |
the Economy › Minimum Wage
8>8 Personal answerRegardless, minimum wage standards should be adjusted by age group |
Domestic Policy › Gun Control
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Immigration › Deporting Criminal Immigrants
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Environmental Regulation
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Healthcare › Healthcare Privatization
8>8 Personal answerWe Need more facilities but many seniors require subsidization.... Gov. Only has a few beds that are subsidized inmost facilities, a d they are not Nxious to build Mor places..... Why couldn't a small deduction be collected per cheque towards better places for future of seniors - you take taxes and take our money earned for cpp and oas, BUT there is still no place affordable to live independently that is reasonable, in size, quality, safety, affordability and availability as seniors on gov. Funded pension only (cpp reduced and oas) cannot afford market value, no availability, no senior facilities that are clean, updated and spacious for independent living, the income does not cover market value living costs..... I believe a realistic rental threshold could be created and have a subsidy to equal that, so many are having their mortgages and investments being funded off the backs of seniors, struggling families trying to pay these ridiculous rents..... If we were that rich we would Buy ourselves |
Immigration › Immigration
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Immigration › Muslim Immigrant Ban
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Renewable Energy
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Native Funding
8>8 Personal answerNo, encourage integration, but it will take time... Education, training and many programs, BUT BEEN so long now, will there be enough jobs? Equality..... I would love housing, meds, dental, eye care..... I was born here, worked here, paid taxes here, supported my community, raised a family here and am dependent on gov. Pension, as any savings I had goes to ridiculous rent costs, meds, no dental, food jokes, no subsidy towards market value rent, I get no help to survive ad a senior and paid my way through life...... Indigenous are welcome to be tax paying citizens who integrate as Canadians..... We are all humans |
Domestic Policy › Drug Policy
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Elections › Criminal Politicians
8>8 Personal answerIf it Isa simpler crime, but would need to see how this exception was defined before I said yes, def. No violent fatal, sexual, or a-hole crimes, incl. Snakey manipulative crap |
the Environment › Plastic Product Ban
8>8 Personal answerDon't produce or allow it without an environmental disposal plan that works!!! For the globe! |
Crime › Parole Hearings
8>8 Personal answerThis requires much more discussion |
Elections › Right of Foreigners to Vote
8>8 Personal answerYes, but only after living in the country for 10 years |
Housing › Home Buyer Incentives
8>8 Personal answerMaybe have incentive programs for 1st time buyers and young people to keep the economy stimulated, like in early 80s....AHOP program, or less required for down payment, many youth can pay as they work and may even make good money but at such astronomical prices, they will take decades to get the down payment. Also, for a short time, maybe limit the number of homes per one person, as they buy them and hold those who don't have all that cash hostage so you are forced to only rent while they get richer and prices rise and youth NEVER get to own..... Even if they create a % cap over what indiv. Paid as it just gets crazy so a HOME is not a home, but a commodity to make money.... Ok for that within reason for budget, inflation and fair rental rates..... Some kind of incentive to owners to rent to seniors on gov. Pension income only.... Much work to do here |
Crime › Defunding the Police
8>8 Personal answerAgree with funding and training in higher crime areas, also community/municipal policing is great, certainly NOT defund them, they and first responders have their own lives on the line for our well being.... That is welL worth the funding |
Elections › Minimum Voting Age
8>8 Personal answerNo |
the Economy › Government Spending
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Science › Nuclear Energy
8>8 Personal answerYes, temporarily while we increase investment into cleaner renewable alternatives |
Housing › Non-Resident Real Tax
8>8 Personal answerYes, and the tax should be at least 10% |
Foreign Policy › Foreign Aid
8>8 Personal answerDecrease but caution with foreign countries where terrorism is commonplace, also spend some $ on your own citizens too!!!! |
Education › Postsecondary Education
8>8 Personal answerProvincial |
Transportation › Public Transportation
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Foreign Policy › Bill C-51
8>8 Personal answerMore definition and a task for e for this should be considered..... I am not q 100% IN ALL THE details of this bill, need more clarification |
Crime › Criminal Voting Rights
8>8 Personal answerAgain need more clarification, esp. Those in for murder, circumstances.... Self defence, you or them..... Accidental, so many variables |
Education › Charter Schools
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Transportation › Commercial Drones
8>8 Personal answerAgain, need detailed policy on how/what the drone is used for and what parameters in the commercial field |
