Here are your answers compared to this voter’s answers.
Domestic Policy › Government Surveillance
4>4 Personal answerYes, this is necessary to combat terrorism |
Healthcare › Prescription Drugs
4>4 Personal answerNo. Most people that work are provided with some type of subsidy or 100% coverage through a company benefit plan. For individuals that have not contributed via work, OHIP etc. If benefits are important then work. If individuals that have exceeded a set cost due to a serious need for expensive drugs then some subsidy could be provided by the government. Retirees that have worked and contributed for many years should be covered. The government needs to initiate some cost controls over the pharmaceutical companies that have no constraints. Taxes. Insurance, Pharmaceuticals and Government can spend or charge without monitoring. |
Foreign Policy › Mandatory Military Service
4>4 Personal answerNo |
Education › University Tuition
4>4 Personal answerRegardless, privatize education and let the free market determine the tuition rates |
the Economy › Corporate Tax
4>4 Personal answerLower |
the Environment › Logging
4>4 Personal answerNo |
Immigration › Immigration
4>4 Personal answerYes. Not only should there be stronger immigration policies but there should be a requirement to enforce the obligation of new immigrant to conform to the laws and standards set by established Canadians. Here's an easy acid test. Choose any long term established Canadians family 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation in Canada. If those family members can perform an act, then any family can also perform the act and vice-versa. If the established Canadian family can block the QEW in protest without any criticism or legal actions, then anyone can. If that family performs that same act and is penalized then everyone should be treated the same. Void of discrimination. We should have a document signed as per Australia's standards and enforce it. |
Social › Niqāb
4>4 Personal answerNo |
the Environment › Environmental Regulation
4>4 Personal answerNo businesses are already over regulated and as a result relocating to other countries. Most of these other countries have zero environmental regs but are performing work once located in NA. and defiantly announced the increase of pollutants in order to manufacture the increased business. Try encouraging companies to return or invest by giving incentives, reasonable regulations and at the same time discourage other countries from investing in those locations. New industry in NA will bring Jobs, power usages, business taxes, support associated supplier business, etc. Then before those jobs are appointed to immigration be sure every established Canadian is working. Global warming is not a natural event but my research would support the primary cause is population. The world can not sustain increase in population. Ever wonder why most of the poorest countries have the greatest number of people???? |
Social › Women in Combat
4>4 Personal answerIf the inclusion concern for females is the primary agenda then a standard testing and qualification program should be developed that reflects the demands of the job (be it military combat, firefighting, policing, H.R.) and every candidate should be required to meet these standards. One standard for everyone without compromise. Whom ever can meet these standards can participate in a selection process. REAL EQUALITY void of PC influence. |
the Environment › Renewable Energy
4>4 Personal answerNo. If the energy program was managed properly and used business models to run the department instead of manipulating the subject to encourage support for the political gain and to ensure PC influences are met, there should be ample energy to support Canada now. It may also be a sound business decision not to give energy away to other countries. I live in SW Ontario where you can't spit without hitting a Wind Powered Energy Generating monstrosity yet we have constant interruptions and power outages but you can hear the free electricity heading north to Detriot. |
Immigration › Skilled Immigrants
4>4 Personal answerDecrease, and the government should provide more incentives to prepare our citizens for these jobs |
the Economy › Welfare Drug Testing
4>4 Personal answerYes |
the Economy › Pension Tax
4>4 Personal answerNo. My financial analysis related to my pension was based on the current interest rate, cost of living (gas, electricity, property taxes Vehicle/house insurance, medical costs etc) at the time I retired. Based on these factors my retirement finances looked sustainable. Now with increase of all the commodities, taxes, lower interest, etc. my fixed income holds less disposable/purchasing funds. I wish we would choose not to provide billions of $$ to other countries, refugee immigration and aboriginal hand outs and provide more for the contributing and established Canadians. I would be more in favour of supporting other countries/foreign aid and aboriginals, however our government is happy to invest our money without any business auditing or accountability. Of interest, with the billions that have been given away there is obviously no improvements as the same organizations and countries come back every year for more. Major financial investment without improvements is a poor business decision??/ |
Crime › Parole Hearings
4>4 Personal answerNo |
Elections › Campaign Finance
4>4 Personal answerNo |
Elections › Prime Minister Term Limits
4>4 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Quebec Sovereignty
4>4 Personal answerNo. The French lost the war to Britain and they should be required to exist as the rest of Canada. No more special financial hand out, no more french language only, no more requirement to speak french to qualify for P.M. They country including Quebec is Canada anything else is treason. Maybe a little less arrogance could be required as well. |
Immigration › Temporary Foreign Workers
4>4 Personal answerDecrease |
Education › Postsecondary Education
4>4 Personal answerThe government should not be involved in education |
Crime › Criminal Voting Rights
4>4 Personal answerNo |
Foreign Policy › Bill C-51
4>4 Personal answerYes |
Transportation › Commercial Drones
4>4 Personal answerNo |
