Pro choice. On demand. Free at point of service. Access in all provinces mandated by federal government. Abortion is healthcare and shouldn’t be denied.

Taking away someone's life is not your decision to make, even as their mother. If you cannot support your child or for whatever reason, you do not want it, then consider your options and receive a consultation with a professional. There are so many other options, such as open and closed adoption (wither you want to stay in contact and be able to see the child in their future or want nothing to do with them), direct placement adoption (you can pick out a family best suited for you child), agency adoption (letting an adoption facility take care of your child's placement in a new home,…  Read more instead of you having to deal with it). When committing to adoption you are giving someone the chance to raise a child who can’t have one and become a parent. You are creating a family and making their dreams come true. You can give the child the opportunity to have a lifestyle or family that you can’t provide. You can still focus on school, work, or other needs if you aren’t ready to be a parent. Even with adoption, you are permanently giving up parental rights and you may disagree with how the adoptive parents raise the child. Pregnancy and childbirth may be difficult or painful and could have an impact on your body or health, but even with these complications you are bringing an innocent untouched soul into the world, you can still find the optimal family to nourish your child and provide them with a chance to experience the full encounter of life. Otherwise, you are killing someone, your own blood just because you may not be in the situation to take care of a baby, someone else can. Someone who has been dying to have a baby, your baby. Abortion is destroying a family's dreams, families who can't have a child so look for adoption.

If she was raped and had a kid then put the kid up for adoption and the government should pay her to raise the kid instead of killing them

I am Pro-Choice. Abortion in Canada has been decriminalized for over half a century, and is protected by the section 7 of the charter. Regardless of what your stance is, Canada will stay pro choice so the question seems irrelevant

I am pro-life in general but understand that incest is a horrible situation for both the female and the fetus as it may lead to congenital defects. I also think rape is horrible and rapists should be killed by the victim or sent up for life but the fetus is innocent. It's a decision that the woman must make and eventually answer to God.

i support the choice to pick abortion or not but both parents must choose together, no one with more or less say in the matter, unless in the case of rape or incest.

pro-choice but there should be rules on how many abortions you get and it should not be used as a birth control, you should be aloud to get a abortion if you were raped, insest, and under the age of 18. They should also teach more about safe sex.

I don't really have an opinion on this but say if a woman gets raped and the attacker doesn't use protection now she has to deal with a child she didn't even want. Or if your in a relationship and you use protection but it breaks but your not ready for a kid.

i feel it would be unfair to say no to abortion it can help people who aren't ready for kids or have high risk pregnancy's and it should be both the mother and father's decision

Pro life who doesn’t support abortion even if it involves a girl getting raped, I still that aborting the baby wouldn’t do anything for it and should put up to adoption. I believe the abortion of babies made from incest since it would have many difficulties and trauma among them.

Pro choice, but I feel like women should have a good reason to have an abortion like if they are raped by a family member or anyone else. If they are perfectly capable of raising a child and knew the risks of becoming pregnant then maybe they shouldn't have an abortion.

I feel like it goes both ways because if a woman was raped then i believe that she can abort it but if a woman goes out of her way to have sex and understands that and has a baby then she should not be able to abort the baby.

I think Women have the right to get an abortion even if they're not victims of rape. Its their body and their choice and they should have the right too choose when they're ready to carry and birth a human being.

I do not support abortion but I believe making it illegal is not a viable solution. How about making it a criminal offense for a man to abandon his responsibilities and maybe there would be less women feeling their only option is abortion.
