What is your stance on abortion?
Pro-life, but allow in cases of rape, incest, or danger to the mother or child
If a woman or girl gets raped or isn’t ready to be a mother they should have the choice to do what they wants with their body.
Abortions are no more than medical procedures that women should be able to receive whenever they should want to.
Pregnancy can pose various health risks to women, and the decision to have an abortion should be a matter of personal choice, ultimately resting with the pregnant woman. Similar to the principle that no one is obliged to donate their organs to save another person's life, a pregnant woman should not be compelled to continue a pregnancy if it's not her choice. Furthermore, situations arise where a woman may genuinely desire to have children but finds herself in a precarious financial position, making it challenging to provide for the child's well-being. In such cases, the option to terminate a pregnancy should be available, irrespective of the reasons involved.
Moreover, it's essential to consider the mental health of the pregnant woman. Forcing a woman to continue an unwanted or risky pregnancy can have profound and lasting effects on her mental and emotional well-being. Allowing women the autonomy to make decisions regarding their reproductive health, including abortion, can significantly contribute to their mental health and overall quality of life. Ensuring a woman's autonomy over her reproductive decisions is fundamental in promoting her physical, emotional, and mental health.
