It should be a mix of both really I think all schooling should be fre to those who are serious about it

 @9M78KHFfrom Ontario  answered…12mos12MO

Federal and Provincial should work together to create a proper point of view along with the public views as well (we should have votes for our education).

 @9KKLP5Yfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

Academic institutions require regulation in terms of human rights and funding, but the government should encourage the pursuit of knowledge and public wellbeing through education as a general priority, perhaps offering more leeway to institutions than producing accreditation-based or labour outcomes.

 @9KB34G7Green from Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

I think we need to reevaluate how we’re teaching our children in schools. I think we need to teach them how to be good with their hands or entrepreneurs. And not setting them up to work at Walmart, the rest of their life.

 @9HHTQD6Conservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

It should be funded by both and have very strict guidelines as far as matching funding to academic success. If you don't succeed, it turns into an interest free loan. If you become productive in the field of training you were educated for. It's free after 5 years of employment in your field.

Whoever at the time is better suited for making such decisions such as expertise and focus group.

 @B3G5F9Zfrom Ontario  answered…2mos2MO

Provincially managed, but with standards that are set out at the federal level with an independent state apparatus

 @9ZNZZY8from Ontario  answered…5mos5MO

The postsecondary education system should be both a provincial and private responsibility, but with federal standards being met. These standards should only cover the practical competencies of any educational credential and not include any politically motivated ideological aspects.

 @9TYQ6MZfrom Ontario  answered…7mos7MO

Post-secondary education should be a shared responsibility between federal and provincial governments.

 @9RDJFXLfrom Ontario  answered…9mos9MO

Geographically tightened. Ontario should be mandating job market issues and allowing students to pursue those fields.

 @9GPTXMRfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

I think it needs to be a partnership in order to ensure adequate funding, standards and consistency.

 @9GJPKWTfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

Support should include local municipalities through education that can be coupled with hands on work opportunities for students that know their career path while providing incentives to employers so they can still earn a diploma, Maintain friendships and support economic growth in their communities through job creation, especially in rural areas or smaller cities that do not have jobs within the students’ field of interest.

A new system of of education similar to private schools. No government involvement regarding the education curriculum. Must be provincially or federally funded. Government must attain to strict and adhere policy to not tamper with the education system and curriculum; not to reiterate or change history; and to not deny science.

 @96CYT57from Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

Neither, because schools are municipal not provicial and Justin Trudeau can't run schools.

 @95WYXWKfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

I don't get this but I think schools should be run by people who understand the struggles

 @95QSJH8from Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

 @95MW2DSfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

Neither, it should be the choice of the person who is choosing to go into or not go into post-secondary

 @95J6B93from Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

depends where you go (if you go outside of your province, maybe a split.)

federal schools provide no standard of education on Indigenous Reservations therefore Ontario curriculum is purchased So education needs to be locally controlled following provincial standard

 @8Y8F9S4Liberalfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

It's neither group's responsibility, I believe it's a public choice that falls the responsibility on ourselves.

 @8XW3RVMfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8XJ8R6Vfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

Neither. It’s the public’s choice. Government has no spot in this unless rebates or grants. It should be tax write off for parents. Sounds like communism.

 @8WL54S5from Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8WK75SBfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

The postsecondary education should be provincial unless the person is traviling from province to province.

 @8VZJJDRfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Post-secondary education should be the students and parents responsibility, however in cases where this fails, give them a benefit cap where they can afford a 1 bedroom plus food until they finish their education.

 @8VV3BLTfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Those is not descriptive enough. In terms of the teachings/courses, government should not decide, but should ensure what is being taught is within reason (ethical, etc.)
Funding could be subsidised a bit by federal, some provincial, but mainly covered by the individual.

 @8VTTZYSfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

education needs reworking on how it runs, and should not be standardized

 @8VSZ2VXfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Federal, and remove the catholic separation to make all school public with a world religions mandatory class in grade 10

 @8VSRL9Xfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

In some countries, the government pays for your education but then after your graduation you have to stay for 5 years and work for the government.

 @8VS4TLVfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VRZY3Vfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Both levels should play a supporting role in managing accessibility and positive student outcomes if we want to have a wealthy, educated population.

 @8VRR8D8from Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Provincially funded using a voucher system that allows for competition amongst schools

 @8VP69WYfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Should be privately paid for but government needs to act on the ridiculous rate at which post secondary prices are rising in relation to inflation

 @8VNKKT5from Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

It doesn’t matter who’s responsibility it is. We all deserve education

 @8VMFF3Sfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Postsecondary education should be paid for, but grants and scholarships should exist for the better graded students, and student loans should have the minimum interest rates.

 @8VLMG23People’sfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

The education system is on a slippery slope with a danger ever increasing confusion

 @8VJN8FFfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Both because in the end the people that succeed and gain employment pay both federal and provincial taxes so it should definately have a role in Post secondary education.

 @8VJHCRQfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

All post secondary should be privatizated. Get the federal government out if everything that isn't national defence.

 @8VHKLZPfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

The federal government only as a regulator. Postsecondary education shouldn't receive government money.

 @8VDGWQZfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VDG5VNfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Post Secondary institutions should ensure balanced view points and funding should be partially tied to campuses fostering healthy debate and not liberal arts-centric echo chambers

 @8SDTC4Qfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

France has an amazing education system for the youth. Moving towards that model. No private schools, so the rich are forced to donate money to the government to ensue there child has a good education. In the end all children benefit from this. Education is very important. All children are provided at lunch at school. Less stress for parents packing lunches, no food shaming -for those that are less fortunate. No child should go hungry. What’s the point of paying for a child to go to school and have an expensive education, if they can’t concentrate because they are hungry.

 @8RPQGR8from Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

As of right now, I wish it was a federal responsibility because the Ontario Provincial government is making the education system worse each year since 2019

 @8RLDMD7from Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Postsecondary education is bs in alot of degree's, we should be gearing people towards the trades

 @8Q24BJFConservativefrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

The government has nothing to do with the responsibility of post secondary education and it should stay that way. Government loans aren't the same thing.

 @8PXFNGVLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Provincial, but with federal support for students and research support, and with the possibilty of federal accreditation of specific universities.
