We are obligated to take care of each other globally. We should increase aid to those we affected with climate change or other western actions, like supporting or not speaking up against occupation. We need to decrease aid to anyone taking part in genocide. Zero aid should go to Zionism, lots of aid to Palistinians and climate refugee, and war refugees

Although we should altruistically help countries that require assistance, Canada needs to look hard to reduce the poverty and unemployment levels within our borders. When those citizens contribute to society and the GDP, and the standard of living is back up, we will have much more money that can be donated to other countries.

We can’t even improve the state of First Nation communities so why money goes outside of Canada to support other countries is beyond me.
