Send supplies rather than funds and give to the organizations that help the community rather than the govt. Help more innocent victims.

Depends what aid is for. Case by case basis. Overall, should try to maintain or decrease if possible.

 @9T64K8Rfrom Ontario  answered…3mos3MO

Decrease, focus on reducing our national budget deficit, still give some humanitarian aid to warring countries and to help poorer nations.

Canadian aid spending should prioritize security with regard to health and safety and fostering our global economy and be regulated so that it is not corporations who profit the most off of it. We should also not fund countries whose governments are committing human rights violations or that are destabilizing or exploiting other poorer countries.

I fully support giving humanitarian aid to other countries. But I think the current government or Canada sometimes or regulary forget about its own native citizens (First Nations specifically)

I say this because I myself am a indigenous resident of Canada (First Nation/Native/Canadian/Native American) and seems like the current and past goverment parties never address the issues surrounding First Nation communities.

I dont have clean water, and Trudeau said he would fix the problem back in 2015 and its 2023 and I still got to filter and boil my water before use.

Neither. However deny aid to countries that have human rights violation and/or harbor promote terrorism.
