People need to be more aware of their sex life, and be more cautious and think more that with an always chance of having a kid, if it is necessary to take the risk.

Everybody should get the chance to live their best life and make the world a better place even if they weren't planned. the fact that people would take these poor people and just throw them out like garbage is also disgusting.

You do not know the circumstances impacting someone seeking an abortion, and it is not the government's decision to decide this. Many people are struggling to make ends meet, there could be a medical or mental health reason, or they are just not ready to be a parent.

It should be the mothers choice on if they want to get an abortion or not, because someone could get pregnant and it could be from the result of rape, or something out of their control. I don't think abortion is murder because you'd just be aborting a clump of cells and not an actual human.

If the dad wants to leave the mom then the mom should be able to abort it. If the mom was raped, she should be able to abort a child that would only be a hassle and traumatic for her causing some sort of neglect or abuse.

It is a woman's choice what she wants to do with HER baby, especially people who have no way to have on should not have an opinion. What if the woman was raped? What if the woman doesn't have enough money to support herself and the baby?

I see too many parents not fit to be parents as it is. If we got rid of abortions we would see an increase on the public services that already can’t keep up with their demand.

When a woman's life is in danger due to a pregnancy, why should she keep the baby that could kill her.

pregnancy alone is a physically, emotionally, and mentally draining process that can cause irreparable trauma to a woman’s body and/or her psyche. it is unethical and unfair to expect someone to endure the hardships of carrying a baby to term - permanently changing her body - when she may not even desire to pursue motherhood. to honestly believe that compromising the life of a woman to protect an unborn, non conscious, and underdeveloped fetus is “pro-life”, is to contradict your own morals. if you don’t like abortions, don’t get one. what a woman chooses to do with her body is absolutely none of your business.

Some of these pregnancies aren't only rape but rape of very young women and children. IMO it's cruel to make a woman have her rapists baby, and even crueler to force a child to carry to term and potentially die giving bbirth. As a mother, the fertilized egg isn't even considered a fetus until it has began brain development. All life is life, so maybe pro life the environment the way you do abortions.

A woman who has a pregnancy, whether accidental or planned should have the right to terminate that pregnancy safely, with medical help. All types of contraception should be free and easily available to help prevent unwanted pregnancie. Reasons for termination includes, but is not limited to medical reasons, for the mother or fetus, crime, or the fact the woman is just not ready and it was accidental.

There is a greater risk for pregnancy complications/mortality rates for women when they are denied access to termination options. You will also see an increase in child neglect, death, and mental health problems when a woman/girl is forced to birth an unwanted pregnancy.

A woman should not be required to support a life using her own blood, energy, and resources if she does not fully consent to and want it. The mother's health, life and wellbeing comes before that of a fetus that may not even make it to full term. Every person has the right to their own bodily autonomy; forcing them to carry a fetus to term, especially if the pregnancy is the result of rape, abuse, etc, takes that right away from them. If a fetus was considered a baby, which it is not, then things like maternity leave and child support should start at conception. If the only reason a fetus should be considered as a baby is to stop women from getting abortions; it is not protecting the life of the unborn fetus, it is taking away the rights of women.

If the woman became pregnant through malignant means, there should be the option for her to get the aborton, there is no debate about it. Those cases would have more negative consequences then if she terminated within the first few weeks. What if an underage girl was assualted and became preganant? She should not be forced to keep the fetus to term. As defined, the fertiilzed egg becomes a fetus after the first nine weeks of pregnany, essentially meaning it is matter within the woman's womb and does not have a brain or conscience, as development occurs during the fetal stage. No life is harmed with an abortion within those first two months.

Giving whomever is carrying the child a choice on weather than will or will not having the child is important as maybe they are a minor, having money troubles, on medication that could affect the child, in an abusive household, a child of rape or incest or perhaps the mother physically cannot carry the child.

how are you going to strip the choice of a of carrying and birthing a child from her? what if the woman gets post partum because of her circumstances and ends up killing herself and or the baby? what happens if the mother can not provide for her child and they end up homeless? It's their fault that they had a baby and wanted to get rid of it when they could've easily prevented having one by not using protection and wouldn't of had to waste a lot of time and a life that was forming.

Canada has had more lax laws for abortion than the states for years and STILL has less abortions per capita. Legalize it AND increase social programs to help mothers make safe and informed decisions

If a patient needs a life saving organ donation, any person eligible to donate has the choice to decline no matter the current religious views on it or if the patient in need of donation will die. There’s a lot of victims of SA, nobody in that situation should be forced to raise a child they did not want. Especially if the victim is young or not in the right state money wise or mentally to raise a child. This can also count for teenagers and young adults who get pregnant, sometimes people don’t have access to having safe sex or aren’t aware of it. Placing the burden of raising a child they cannot raise will make that child’s life horrible and we got enough kids in the system already. Banning abortion or putting high restrictions would most likely increase the chances of abusive and neglectful households too.

A fetus is NOT a kid yet. at three weeks, a fetus has all the human body parts, yes, but the life of the mother is more important than another life in your body. if it is a medical emergency that the mother needs to abort the child, then it is OK. Even if the mother wants to abort child it’s her choice. That’s why it’s called pro-choice. The argument a life is a life it’s not you that deciding it’s the mother’s choice you can’t flame a mother because she wants to abort a child. also, one of my pet peeves is someone that brings the Bible into an argument there are facts and there is proof don’t bring the Bible into it please.

When an abortion is chosen the mother is really choosing to kill an infant. Though it can't communicate with you it is a living being who is just as important as you. Think if the roles were reversed imagine you as a fetus in your mother's womb. despite that you do not understand what has happened to you, your mother has chosen to abort you and you will never see daylight. These babies that people are aborting are children who are alive and would grow to be an adult just like all humans. In most cases, it is a choice to create a baby and if you don't want one just don't do it. Those who are forced I pity. Despite wanting a baby or not they have no choice. However

Even if we grant that a fetus is a person with rights, no person has the legal right to use another person's body without their continuous consent. For example, we don't force people to donate organs or blood, even if doing so would save another person's life. So, even if the fetus has a right to life, that right doesn't override the pregnant person's right to control their own body.

It's not the man that has to go through with the stress and pain of pregnancy and if the mother who is carrying the baby wants to either keep or abort the baby than that is her own choice about her own body and her own life, there is no ethical excuse that the man or anyone else should have a say in what the woman wants to do with her own body or life.

Live a day in someone’s body and life. Everyone has their reasons for why they choose this option and should not be judged.
