Preventing abortions will increase abuse and childhood poverty rates, as well as the use of illegal abortions

Even with options like adoption, a pregnancy is a long term process can have heavy effects on a woman's body. Abortions are also utilized when the pregnancy becomes dangerous, and needs to be terminated. The life of an unborn fetus is not more important than that of a fully grown human being.
