If I want to buy a glock I should damn well be able to buy a glock ***** so no there shouldnt be any restrictions.

 @B4LHWPYfrom Saskatchewan  answered…5 days5D

They need to do some type of background check or make the age at which a gun can be purchased higher. Guns need more rules in buying and safety. Maybe even a rule to not be allowed to purchase a gun without proper firearm of guns safety.

 @B2Z2J59from Saskatchewan  answered…2mos2MO

no, the only ones who should be able to own a restricted or prohibited firearm should be born in Canada and raised in Canada.

 @9ZKHTN2from Saskatchewan  answered…5mos5MO

NO! the goverment shouldn’t need to know how meny or what kind of guns you have there should be lisonsing to be abel to by a hunting riffel and semie Otto and more for atomatic and pistols

 @9FKMM2Tfrom Saskatchewan  answered…2yrs2Y

Any violent felons should not be allowed to purchase a gun, and all who purchase a gun should need to present a firearm safety license at the time of purchase

 @8HWB3JJfrom Saskatchewan  answered…5yrs5Y

Government should provide pass nation "stand your ground"law and restrict from public use

 @937VGMGfrom Saskatchewan  answered…3yrs3Y

yes and no it depends on the person if there can use it or if they are going to use for something else

 @8ZW3F4Lfrom Saskatchewan  answered…3yrs3Y

try the process of getting a gun in Canada harder ex Iceland where getting a gun is a long process first you need a mental health test to see if your sane need to take a 12-hour course read a special book and pass a full test then you get a license to buy a limited amount of un and the types of gun you can buy is limited but after a year and a half you can upgrade your license to upgrade to different types of guns then make gun owner store the guns and ammo separately unlike the us where you can get a gun in 15 minutes

 @8Z6P9KQfrom Saskatchewan  answered…3yrs3Y

Either there should be a regular mental check up for all firearm owners (legal or not, if possible. Monetary incentives to coerce unlawful to participate?), or a town armoury where all firearms can be stored/checked out? Alterations to this idea seem likely and beneficial.

Yes, require strict background checks, psychological, testing, training, restrict access to criminals, mentally ill and anyone suspected or guilty of a gun related crime

 @8WQV464Conservativefrom Saskatchewan  answered…3yrs3Y

only add more for the people who have a criminal record with a gun violation

No, but yes for assault weapons such as AK's, AR's, etc. but not for rifles, and shotguns that are for hunting. The government should pass a "stand your ground" law, and have a self defense course on if the fact that somebody comes into your home, you know where exactly to shoot them, and have an ambulance called at either free of charge, or they pay for it. Make it harder for the felons, and mentally ill. And also increase the penalties for gun related crimes

 @8TWN8T7from Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

No, current laws should be stream lined to be made more consistent instead of focusing on aesthetic traits, materials, and brands the laws should focus more on capabilities.

Currently, in Canada, the restrictions are going too far. Since we only get like a 5 round clip, if you ever get chased by a boar, which can soak up bullets, you're dead. I think that the restrictions should be a bit lower, at least for hunting and there should be a criminal check before you can own guns, but I think that they need to be substantially lowered for hunters.

 @9BG4J2Sfrom Saskatchewan  answered…2yrs2Y

no, but there should be more rules around being able to carry it on you.

 @9B5Q54Xfrom Saskatchewan  answered…2yrs2Y

no guns are meant for hunting and the war and people aren't going to use a AR-15 to kill a deer. think about it people!

 @99WWPPSfrom Saskatchewan  answered…2yrs2Y

Only specific stuff like Assault rifles, Snipers, Shotguns and Mines should be banned. Pistols and Semi Auto carbines should be allowed for self defence and stand your ground should be allowed.

 @99WWKWZfrom Saskatchewan  answered…2yrs2Y

Powerful guns should not be aloud to the public but small less powerful guns like a pistol is ok.

 @8SSH4FFConservativefrom Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

no just have a background check. If something comes up then you should place more restrictions but not everyone should have to go through them

The government needs to have a better system for tracking ownership and there should be penalties for violating current laws.
