No, but yes for assault weapons such as AK's, AR's, etc

but not for rifles, and shotguns that are for hunting. The government should pass a "stand your ground" law, and have a self defense course on if the fact that somebody comes into your home, you know where exactly to shoot them, and have an ambulance called at either free of charge, or they pay for it. Make it harder for the felons, and mentally ill. And also increase the penalties for gun related crimes
