In Canada there are very strict rules on how to obtain a gun, so in Canada I think the laws are fine but in other countries like the USA there should be more restrictions

No. Remove all gun-buying restrictions and increase penalties for gun crimes up to and including the death penalty as well as instituting stand your ground and castle doctrine laws.

Increase penalties for gun related crimes (mugging kidnapping, smuggling, etc). Remove restrictions created under OIC.
Implement clearer guidance on stand your ground laws
