In your opinion, does the current debate about transgender athletes reflect deeper societal values around fairness and equality?

Should the government increase funding for homeless shelters and services?
Do you think increasing funding for shelters will truly help, or will it lead to other challenges?
Challenges will arise in any new project undertaken. This does not mean we just stop trying to make change.

Should the government raise taxes on the rich?
Can you imagine a future where taxes have minimized social inequality? What does it look like?
Where the wealthy are taxed the way they should be, taking the load off of working class citizens.

Should police departments be allowed to use military grade equipment?
If a friend expressed fear of going to a protest because of heavily armed police, what advice would you give them?
I would say they are fully justified in their fear. If they still want to go to the protest, I'd go with them and perhaps bring a group with me.
