I hope so, we need a time where we can resoulve our problems with words, not weapons.
@9HZBZV31yr1Y
I don’t ever think the entire world is gonna be against wars and violence especially because we can’t all agree on anything never mind conflicts
@9J3KJMK 1yr1Y
I believe it is superficial to have a world where war is obsolete because the world in itself faces hundreds of obstacles. Such as political tensions, cultural differences, grievances, and to mention it is innate for us to feel some aspect of competition and self protection.
eventually everyone will have weapons of mass destruction and no wars would be able to happen without the planet wiping out itself
Since the human race is complicated the likelihood of that happening is very low.
@9HD9MZV1yr1Y
No. History repeats itself all the time. War will always exist because we are humans. War will exist for all kinds of reasons such as self defence, greed, gaining property etc. It is in our nature to seek war.
@9K5WY641yr1Y
No, unless everyone is united, war is an important factor for both technological and physiological development.
@9KF2HWL 1yr1Y
Only 8% of global governments are true democracies. Authoritarianism is still very much alive and as long as this continues, imperialism will follow.
@9KDLF6C1yr1Y
There are to many haters in this world. There will always be people who disagree on things and think war is the best way to solve it which sucks.
@9JVMF7W1yr1Y
Realistically I think that humans are too intelligent and too fast paced to be able to fully let go of violence.
@9JYLP3N1yr1Y
we are complicated little monkeys all riddled with internal biases, prejudices and hypocrisies. conflict can and will always arise at some point or another when our values clash too harshly.
@9JXD6CJ1yr1Y
Humans are very stubborn people and i think this person is going off a vision that there will alwasy be someone who views the world with older ways and that will almost always cause conflict in the world.
@9HR5PGH 1yr1Y
We could if our governments didn't fund a genocide because of greed and a lack of concern for human life.
@9HPLKNG1yr1Y
No. There will always be a person or people willing to sacrifice either lives or the safety of their country because of personal narcissism and self-glorification.
@9HLXR291yr1Y
No, I believe war will always exist. War is something that happens a lot today and I can't really see it coming to a end anytime soon.
@9HD4NRN1yr1Y
No, I think that there are too many different types of people in the world, some with severe religious beliefs that will always fight no matter what
@9HL4P67Conservative1yr1Y
No. There will always be people who work for their own benefit. Wars are caused by the selfishness of a few in power.
No. There will always be conflicts, right and wrong. But We should stop foreign interventionist wars.
I think that war is a never ending cycle and I dont think that our world will ever reach the point of complete peace.
@9HDTK2P1yr1Y
No. War and greed will always play a part in society. I simply hope that we can reach a point where there is no war, however there will always be cases where it is valuable for people to go to war.
@9HCV2TN1yr1Y
Likely not. Humans are prone to violence and fighting. There will never be a time when war is eradicated.
@9HF5FF91yr1Y
In my honest opinion, we are already there. The threat of nuclear retaliation has made most direct offensives way too risky. If every country had a stockpile of nukes, no country would invade another country.
@9HGGJ731yr1Y
I don’t think we will ever reach a point where war does not exist. As much as I hate war and conflict, it is sadly a part of life.
@9HDYNFK1yr1Y
never. human's will always fight for more power, until they realize God is all that matters
@9HCZV681yr1Y
No because as long as there is greed and its mixed with intelligence, someone will be able to start a war.
@9K4H6WC1yr1Y
No. Humans were built to destroy and always will find an excuse to keep making bigger bombs,bigger bullets,bigger guns and bigger egos. War will never stop,If we ever find ailens I am certain that someone would try to start a war with them.
@9KC67NRLibertarian 1yr1Y
There will always be some bad apples in the basket, to even try to achieve a world where there is no violence is to chase a utopia, and chasing utopias almost always ends up creating dystopias.
@9JYWVGQ1yr1Y
I don’t think humans will ever reach a point where war is obsolete because we don’t even understand that right now and there are constant wars + the weapons that we have now lead me to believe that we are gonna kill ourselves before we can ever reach that point
@9K6LLJP1yr1Y
@9K6LKQT1yr1Y
I think that eventually war will be obsolete because it seems to be a never ending cycle of violence that usually proves to be useless as it is often just war over people wanting more and or simply holding judges.
@9KDKYS61yr1Y
Hatred will never reach extinction. Whether it is difference in religion, policies, desire for more land, or racism, there will always be conflict between nations and people.
@9J8R9BD1yr1Y
I do not believe that humans will ever reach a point in which war will be obsolete, as a lot of nations gdp come from defense contractors and weapons manufacturing facilities in conjunction with the shear amount of ideological differences in the world, I believe it is clear that humans will always find a reason they see just to kill one another.
@9JGF6WP1yr1Y
1) Technological Advancements in Warfare
2) Psychological and Societal Factors
3) Economic Interests in the Military-Industrial Complex
@9K7SXGF1yr1Y
No. History repeats itself all the time. War will always exist because we are humans. War will exist for all kinds of reasons such as self defense, greed, gaining property etc. It is in our nature to seek war.
@9KF238R1yr1Y
Perspective: The prevalence of diplomatic solutions and conflict resolution mechanisms illustrates a commitment to resolving disputes without resorting to war.
@9K446FR1yr1Y
Unfortunately, I don't think we will reach a that point, at least not for awhile. There's too many disagreements between world leaders and many of them are "pro-war" and have gained supporters who are also pro-war. So unfortunately I think this will be an issue for many more decades, centuries even.
@9KBGZHY1yr1Y
The war and concept of war is belong less respected throughout generations and I do beleivethat he will slowly more away from war, but people are angry and war does want to continue.
@9J8L9H41yr1Y
No. Sometimes swift and strong military action is the only way to snuff out aggressive foreign powers who threaten global diplomacy.
@9JFNKMBConservative1yr1Y
Prior to WW2, Germany was allowed to break treaty’s invade neighboring countries as the allies stood by and did nothing. Had they taken decisive action early on, millions of lives would have been saved.
I don't belive so, It could happen, Some people are very mean and wont really stop it. It is becoming less Frequent but it will never go obsolete
@9K5HRDB1yr1Y
@9HQXFMQ1yr1Y
No. War will always be a constant; it has for as long as man was man. Tribes fought fiercely, and planes shot severely. The only way that man will learn war is bad is the hard way; extinction.
I do hope that the human race does reach this goal as it causes so much destruction and more money is also needed to rebuilt and re-establish communities which can be very difficult given certain situations.
@9HY42NY1yr1Y
I believe that eventually we can point of no war, however i think there will always be aggression between countries believe of their different beliefs
@9HPX5S91yr1Y
I hope so, although the path to such a world seems very abstract at the moment, a plan should be put in place although I can’t imagine the UN or any similar organization actually making it happen. I am cautiously optimistic for such a world.
@9HG8FTL1yr1Y
I definitely think that we can get to a day where there will be no more war but we have to put in the effort to reach to that point. We need to promote world peace much better in the future.
@9HJCGKC1yr1Y
Yes, I think the human race will reach a point where war is obsolete.
yeah i think we could reach total peace eventually
No, war is a product of greed and bigotry, these traits will always exist in humanity. As long as someone has power over someone else, they will want more, and they will hate people for it
@9HJFW331yr1Y
There may be many years where true peace could never be achieved. Wars are still happening and are still prominent today.
Yes. We should be able to talk things out like adults.
@9HDKK55Conservative1yr1Y
No, I believe that while humans still have free will, war will be ongoing.
@9HD3PKS1yr1Y
Potentially but as long as there is someone who is in high power and has access to things that others aren't. There will always be things that stand in between that make people feel less.
I don't think the human race will ever reach a point where war is obsolete, because greed will always be a thing all humans feel. If we reach a point as a society where we can exist without wanting to take other people possessions, we can live in a world without war. Because we can't do that yet, war will always be a part of the human race, because violence is the only option in situations like that.
@9HDWGHZ1yr1Y
No because everyone will always want something from a different country and that could even include world domination so no i dont think the world will ever reach a obsolete point
@9HDWB8Q1yr1Y
i dont think it will because some people are not capable of change and nothing can change their mind. some people believe in certain things and have beliefs that no one can change
@9T9T292Conservative7mos7MO
No, humans disagree and often disagree violently. Nations also disagree violently
We could be there today. Mass proliferation of nuclear weapons would make inter-state war de-facto obsolete.
@9T7V8557mos7MO
Humans will always have war and that will never change
@9T6H6Z77mos7MO
I believe war will never end, regions and religions all have different believes, I don't think we will ever not have war but we can come to agreements and work together to prevent them.
@9T66X4TConservative7mos7MO
eventually everyone will have weapons of mass destruction and no wars would be able to happen without the planet wiping out itself
@9T32HZQ7mos7MO
No, threats will always arise. Even if we get rid of countries, class wars, ethnic wars, and religious wars will persist.
@9T2Q43J7mos7MO
No. Unfortunately the human race is too filled with greed.
Yes. However, to put this into perspective Anti-War also means anti-security. Sometimes people need to understand that we cannot live in a world where security is weakened or dismantled. Strong security makes strong leaders and a strong nation. War itself in my perspective should be seen as prevention of violence and oppression especially against terrorism.
@9SWJ4RX7mos7MO
No, we are to selfish as a species and we always want more then we currently have.
@9JPWY281yr1Y
i think anti war is a great movement and i hope to see it take off.
@9J4Q7Q9 1yr1Y
It's hard to say. Greed will always exist unfortunately. Greed always leads to war. Its the reason why the West attack other countries for resources, thus legal immigrants come to the Western countries since their places are destroyed or damaged.
War helps generate money unfortunately, the top five oil companies (Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell, BP and TotalEnergies) have made over 134 billion dollars off the Ukranian war. Its very wrong to use war as a way to make money when lives are lost. So abolishing greed would be impossible even with heavy and strict accountability but you can try your best to lessen it as much as possible. We could have a century of peace if the right steps are taken very very carefully (slim chance) but war being obsolete is beyond reach.
@9J4KPP21yr1Y
I do not think war will ever be obsolete. However, I do think we can reach a point where governments aren't spending billions on domestic and foreign military endeavours while individuals starve at home. War should not be more profitable than investing in the care of citizens.
@9J2ZK4T1yr1Y
As much as I wish for a world without war, it's challenging to predict the future. However, I believe that as the human race continues to progress and evolve, there's hope for a future where conflicts are resolved through peaceful means and diplomacy. It would require collective efforts, empathy, and a commitment to understanding and respecting one another. While it may take time, I believe that striving for a world without war is a worthwhile goal.
@9J2Z6S9 1yr1Y
War will always happen that’s how things are we are human. There was always be a war happening somewhere.
@9J23XD21yr1Y
No. Because not everyone will always be in agreement.
If that point will ever be reached, it will be very far into the future.
@9HYPGQG1yr1Y
No - the human race has so much time on their hands - that they would be able to start a war for any reason - some stupider than other.
@9HXQ8NW1yr1Y
I personally think that war won't be obsolete and that there will be war till the end of time.
@9HXHLDR1yr1Y
i think here still will be some countrys that want to have war.
@9HVMKCY1yr1Y
I would really enjoy a world where war is nonexistent, but I believe that power-hungry, despotic dictators/world leaders will never allow that, and will continue to sacrifice there people for land and influance.
@9HV2SRB1yr1Y
No as long as there is social and economic disparity there will always be war.
@9HSPDSY1yr1Y
I think conflict will exist as long as people exist but looking at history the 21st century has the least conflict so far.
@9HRM6G31yr1Y
Only if we reach a point where resource scarcity is no longer an issue.
@9HQBRSV1yr1Y
No. I thinj there will always be conflict in the world.
@9HQBFCQ1yr1Y
A world war in which nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons will be used can never be ruled out.
@9HQ9MMT1yr1Y
yes, i think humanity is going to reach a point where war is needed.
