I don't think that there will ever be a time when the human race will experience complete world peace.
@9HXHR3YNew Democratic11mos11MO
I hope so, we need a time where we can resoulve our problems with words, not weapons.
@9HZBZV311mos11MO
I don’t ever think the entire world is gonna be against wars and violence especially because we can’t all agree on anything never mind conflicts
@9J3KJMK 10mos10MO
I believe it is superficial to have a world where war is obsolete because the world in itself faces hundreds of obstacles. Such as political tensions, cultural differences, grievances, and to mention it is innate for us to feel some aspect of competition and self protection.
@9HXNQ68New Democratic11mos11MO
eventually everyone will have weapons of mass destruction and no wars would be able to happen without the planet wiping out itself
@9HN5ZG3New Democratic11mos11MO
Since the human race is complicated the likelihood of that happening is very low.
@9HD9MZV12mos12MO
No. History repeats itself all the time. War will always exist because we are humans. War will exist for all kinds of reasons such as self defence, greed, gaining property etc. It is in our nature to seek war.
@9HDS3P912mos12MO
Probably not with the world leaders we get, but maybe some time in the far away future we could
@9K5WY649mos9MO
No, unless everyone is united, war is an important factor for both technological and physiological development.
@9KF2HWL 9mos9MO
Only 8% of global governments are true democracies. Authoritarianism is still very much alive and as long as this continues, imperialism will follow.
@9KDLF6C9mos9MO
There are to many haters in this world. There will always be people who disagree on things and think war is the best way to solve it which sucks.
@9JNBYR810mos10MO
No. There will always be someone that thinks they are superior than others and want to enforce their beliefs on others.
@9JSLGDK10mos10MO
Everyone will always have different views and opinions, especially about religion. That causes me to believe there will always be war.
@9JS8GNH10mos10MO
There will always be one political leader that thinks they're better then the other, causing the countries to argue over who is better, and could lead to a war, to try to prove who is better then the other.
@9JVMF7W9mos9MO
Realistically I think that humans are too intelligent and too fast paced to be able to fully let go of violence.
@9JYLP3N9mos9MO
we are complicated little monkeys all riddled with internal biases, prejudices and hypocrisies. conflict can and will always arise at some point or another when our values clash too harshly.
@9JXD6CJ9mos9MO
Humans are very stubborn people and i think this person is going off a vision that there will alwasy be someone who views the world with older ways and that will almost always cause conflict in the world.
@9HSV7T411mos11MO
No, I hope so, but war makes governments too much money
@9HR5PGH 11mos11MO
We could if our governments didn't fund a genocide because of greed and a lack of concern for human life.
@9HPLKNG11mos11MO
No. There will always be a person or people willing to sacrifice either lives or the safety of their country because of personal narcissism and self-glorification.
@9HLXR2911mos11MO
No, I believe war will always exist. War is something that happens a lot today and I can't really see it coming to a end anytime soon.
@9HD4NRN12mos12MO
No, I think that there are too many different types of people in the world, some with severe religious beliefs that will always fight no matter what
@9HL4P67Conservative11mos11MO
No. There will always be people who work for their own benefit. Wars are caused by the selfishness of a few in power.
No. There will always be conflicts, right and wrong. But We should stop foreign interventionist wars.
I think that war is a never ending cycle and I dont think that our world will ever reach the point of complete peace.
@9HDTK2P12mos12MO
No. War and greed will always play a part in society. I simply hope that we can reach a point where there is no war, however there will always be cases where it is valuable for people to go to war.
@9HDMVWC12mos12MO
Not unless the human race is extinct or the government euthanizes all people with "defects", but that is far too extreme and nonsensical. Even with studies with apes we found that just one bad ape is able to cause a total war in the enclosure.
@9HCV2TN12mos12MO
Likely not. Humans are prone to violence and fighting. There will never be a time when war is eradicated.
@9HX66QS11mos11MO
Yes, I feel that a large part of the world has become much more peaceful as it has become more wealthy. We have realized the free market and peace is a superior method for producing wealth in the world. This trajectory will be followed by worlds poor, I hope.
@9J3YLSZ10mos10MO
The world is based on survival and no matter how "peaceful" we've gotten over the years countries and their leaders will always have some sort of problem with other country/leader. Its just human nature.
@9HVQ5LW11mos11MO
What kind of stupid question is this? Also let’s try to imagine a future where we aren’t senselessly killing innocent people for profit- how about we start there.
@9HZC9Y8New Democratic11mos11MO
I would love a world without war, but it just seems unlikely. The fact that there are specific war laws and regulations but are not really policed or maintained is ridiculous.
@9HS73CL 11mos11MO
Never, There will always be power hungry people in this world.
@9HH3BRQ12mos12MO
Never, humans always find something to fight about, usually over greed.
@9HF5FF912mos12MO
In my honest opinion, we are already there. The threat of nuclear retaliation has made most direct offensives way too risky. If every country had a stockpile of nukes, no country would invade another country.
@9HGGJ7312mos12MO
I don’t think we will ever reach a point where war does not exist. As much as I hate war and conflict, it is sadly a part of life.
@9HDYNFK12mos12MO
never. human's will always fight for more power, until they realize God is all that matters
@9HDXGCG12mos12MO
There is no need for war. Conflict and fighting is never the best way to solve a problem, but there are leaders of the world with different values and may think otherwise. So, no, humanity may never reach a point where there is no war, as there will almost always be a handful of people who think that force and violence is the best way to solve things.
@9HCZV6812mos12MO
No because as long as there is greed and its mixed with intelligence, someone will be able to start a war.
Though it's an aspirational objective, creating a society free of violence is a difficult and demanding undertaking. Positive outlooks highlight developments in global interconnection, technology, and diplomacy. Difficult global concerns, political interests, and historical patterns are some of the challenges. Notwithstanding these obstacles, major advancements may be achieved by fortifying international institutions, preventing conflicts, and promoting peacebuilding.
@9K4H6WC9mos9MO
No. Humans were built to destroy and always will find an excuse to keep making bigger bombs,bigger bullets,bigger guns and bigger egos. War will never stop,If we ever find ailens I am certain that someone would try to start a war with them.
@9KC67NRLibertarian 9mos9MO
There will always be some bad apples in the basket, to even try to achieve a world where there is no violence is to chase a utopia, and chasing utopias almost always ends up creating dystopias.
@9JTQMJ79mos9MO
No not with the world leaders we have, but maybe some time in the far away future we could
@9JVS3RH9mos9MO
I can understand why someone might feel that way, especially considering the current world leaders. However, it's important to remember that leaders change over time, and new leaders may emerge with different perspectives and approaches to global issues. Additionally, societal progress and advancements in technology can also play a role in shaping a more peaceful future. While it may seem far away, it's always worth holding onto hope and working towards a world without war.
@9J2W6M610mos10MO
No. War is inevitable. Ever since the very first humans, there has been war. The only thing that could every STOP wars. Is genetically engineering the human species to be "kinder"
@9J4FZTD10mos10MO
There will always be some people who disagree with each other, as long as we have separations of countries, people are greedy and will want to expand their land. Everyone has their own religions, beliefs, political stances and so we will never truly be rid of these clashes.
@9K4JB7N9mos9MO
I think that war is inevitable as those who are greedy or want something may go through extreme effort to obtain it no matter how at peace the world is i dont think the possibility of there being no war is very real
@9K9Z4NB9mos9MO
For as long as humans have been roaming, there have been disputes and wars between tribes, territories, etc. With the increase in weapons of mass destruction and exponentially increasing army strength, the effects of war are being felt at a global scale compared to when it was simply bows and arrows and spears and knives. And with globalization and the invention of planes and oversea ships, tankers, submarines, it becomes so much easier to initiate cross continental war. Transportation continues to only get better and stronger and more funding is being put into the army and military services so no, I don't think the human race will ever reach a point where war is obsolete.
@9K3PDCQ9mos9MO
I hope so, we need a time where we can resoulve our problems with words, not weapons.
Human beings are subject to dangerous mentalities. We live in a deeply insecure world filled with those who need to cause harm to feel more secure. War will always be a part of our lives because there is no way to force certain people to adopt a pacifist mentality. It's overly optimistic and unrealistic.
@9JYWVGQ9mos9MO
I don’t think humans will ever reach a point where war is obsolete because we don’t even understand that right now and there are constant wars + the weapons that we have now lead me to believe that we are gonna kill ourselves before we can ever reach that point
@9JLL7K410mos10MO
War is eternal, so long as there is something to gain from it. The only way war becomes obsolete is with a global government ruled under 1 leader and even then; wars will persist in new ways
@9JP7VGF10mos10MO
War will always happen if there is something to gain from it, war will only become obsolete when there are enough guidelines and safety measures in place to make it impossible to start a war, but then people will find other ways to war against each other.
@9K6LLJP9mos9MO
@9K6LKQT9mos9MO
I think that eventually war will be obsolete because it seems to be a never ending cycle of violence that usually proves to be useless as it is often just war over people wanting more and or simply holding judges.
@9KDKYS69mos9MO
Hatred will never reach extinction. Whether it is difference in religion, policies, desire for more land, or racism, there will always be conflict between nations and people.
@9K5R4VQ9mos9MO
no. we've been having war since the dawn of our species, practically. even in the animal kingdom they have what you could call wars. when two creatures want something, they will claw each other's eyes out to get it.
@9KCLGR99mos9MO
yes, war is a heinous, imperial tactic that has no place in human relations and with sufficient empathy and communication can be avoided.
@9K4M34N9mos9MO
No, violence will always be around however I think we're able to drastically reduce the effects of war by reacting to disagreements in a calmer way
@9KBHG669mos9MO
War will never go away as many tend to see violence as the only option and prefer it. We need to educate and create policies to ensure violence is not used
@9J8R9BD10mos10MO
I do not believe that humans will ever reach a point in which war will be obsolete, as a lot of nations gdp come from defense contractors and weapons manufacturing facilities in conjunction with the shear amount of ideological differences in the world, I believe it is clear that humans will always find a reason they see just to kill one another.
@9JGF6WP10mos10MO
1) Technological Advancements in Warfare
2) Psychological and Societal Factors
3) Economic Interests in the Military-Industrial Complex
@9K7SXGF9mos9MO
No. History repeats itself all the time. War will always exist because we are humans. War will exist for all kinds of reasons such as self defense, greed, gaining property etc. It is in our nature to seek war.
@9KF238R9mos9MO
Perspective: The prevalence of diplomatic solutions and conflict resolution mechanisms illustrates a commitment to resolving disputes without resorting to war.
@9K446FR9mos9MO
Unfortunately, I don't think we will reach a that point, at least not for awhile. There's too many disagreements between world leaders and many of them are "pro-war" and have gained supporters who are also pro-war. So unfortunately I think this will be an issue for many more decades, centuries even.
@9KBGZHY9mos9MO
The war and concept of war is belong less respected throughout generations and I do beleivethat he will slowly more away from war, but people are angry and war does want to continue.
@9K3QDX5Conservative9mos9MO
@9JVNDR79mos9MO
@9JVLNT8Conservative9mos9MO
No because there will always be a difference in opinions
@9JWLH89Conservative9mos9MO
There will be people who have the same opinion on something, but there will always be people who have an opposite opinion, which could lead to more issues snd debacles.
@9J8L9H410mos10MO
No. Sometimes swift and strong military action is the only way to snuff out aggressive foreign powers who threaten global diplomacy.
@9JFNKMBConservative10mos10MO
Prior to WW2, Germany was allowed to break treaty’s invade neighboring countries as the allies stood by and did nothing. Had they taken decisive action early on, millions of lives would have been saved.
I don't belive so, It could happen, Some people are very mean and wont really stop it. It is becoming less Frequent but it will never go obsolete
@9K5HRDB9mos9MO
No I don't think so but war should be stop from now.
