Maybe more of a gradual change? We could try to update things as they break down, for instance. If a bus breaks down and the next most environmentally friendly thing is a battery powered one, replace that. If that breaks down and the next best thing is even cleaner, move to that. But ONLY when it is necessary.

it would increase the energy demand by to much if all at once. it should be a slow migration

As long as they don't try to replace them immediately, I think progressively adding more environmentally friendly transport is a good thing.

No we need to find an easier and better alternative to make it easier to transition into electric transportation for public and cheaper

Should be hybrid for when and if we ever make the complete transfer to electric. The infrastructure would already be there and in the meantime we all get the benefit of reduced gas usage

No, but any equivalent green alternatives until better and cheaper EV tech is available
