No, restrictions on purchasing do nothing but affect responsible gun owners, increase penalties for irresponsible use and ownership and maintain checkups on those licensed to ensure compliance.

No. Our current firearms laws make no sense and they should be completely worked over to be less restrictive. The current system does a good job for firearms safety but then goes and arbitrarily bans thousands of models. The people who designed these laws have no idea how firearms work outside of what they see in hollywood action movies.

Yes, ban public gun use and you may only own a gun after obtaining a required licence obtained through extensive tests and training

There should be relaxed gun laws on carrying rights, however the restrictions on acquiring a hand gun, and banning assault weapons should stay the same.

No there should be less gun restrictions because it only punishes responsible gun owners the only restrictions should be no guns whatsoever for the mentally ill and criminals and there should be an increase penalties for gun-related crimes.

Yes. As well, only single-action pistols and shotguns should be considered fro civilians. Other guns should limited to military use.

I am a proud gun owner and the restrictions themselves are fine. What we could do is regular wellness checks/tests(annually for instance) to "check up" on how all gun owners are doing(mental health maybe). It could stimulate the economy by hiring and training people to conduct the tests on a widespread basis.

Everyone has the right to defend themselves. It is whether or not they can physically or mentally defend themselves is important. We should not bring weapons of war into our daily lives.
