This should be tailored to what time of gun-related violence we see in the country, and maybe that should be by province. More individual crimes? Crack down on gun licencing checks. More organized crime? Go harder on punishment or funding special police organizations to cut off group crime lines of trade. I do not, however, think that we should scale back our current gun laws at all. They just need a tweak when and where necessary.
