Yes, but gun laws in Canada should be reformed so that having a gun at home for self defense is allowed

Being able to own and use a gun should be similar to the process of getting your license and being trained to drive a vehicle.

if you have any sort of criminal record you shouldnt be allowed to purchase a gun, but let the honest people in life that have control on their selves and will use the guns for self defense and hunting use

In Canada we have almost perfect laws already, if not a little too strict

no but you should have to own a gun license and sign it with the government

I feel like there should be measures in place to find out how the person buying the gun is and their stability because having a gun as self defence is really important to me but in order to protect citizens from crazy people with guns there need to be more info done on the buyer before giving it to them
