Depends really. Serious crimes, yes. But then again, deporting someone back to their native country could be just a death sentance for them. They could be fleeing a collapsing country/country with active warzones. Time in canadian judicial system is what I prefer for a individual that has committed a crime

If they are committed in criminal in Canada they will be punished by the country they engaged in criminal don’t make sense to send them back to go for different criminals activities

Not if they became a Canadian citizen beforehand. And not if they’re home country is not safe. Deporting people with nothing to go home to is disgusting.

Yes, as long as their home country has the proper criminal punishment systems.

Yes, as long as they are not citizens or permanent residents who have lived in the country for more than five years and only if it is safe for them to return to their country.

No, they should only be deported if they commit a serious crime after only being here for a few years.

No, I think it depends on where this persons support system is. Should be a choice they can make considering they have to serve a long sentence.
