Private clinics should be permitted but receive no government funding. Additionally, we need to allow more nurse practitioners to offer the same services as family GPs, produce more doctors (or promote immigration of Dr.s from other countries), but we need to reign in the salaries of doctors. There is no reason a GP should make 3 to 500k per year after receiving a taxpayer subsidized education. GP salaries and Nurse practitioner salaries could be 180k to 225k for providing family practice services and that would be a fair wage for services offered. If domestically produced Dr.s leave the country they can pay back the government for the subsidized education they received.

I am satisfied with the current system, but please add more hospitals and doctors to avoid wait times

I am ok with a private system to compliment the public system provided we ensure the public system is effective and efficient.

More options could be available and partially covered depending on the intervention

I believe that people should have the choice to go to a private hospital or a public hospital, but only in extreme circumstances and there needs to be a limit on the number of private hospitals. I believe that people should have the right to pay to get faster healthcare. However for people who do not have the money, they can go to the public hospitals.

There should be an option for someone to either go to a private hospital or a public one
