Recent U.N. interventions include the Sri Lankan civil war in 2009 and the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Canada joined the U.N. in 1948 as a founding member nation. Canada is the eighth largest financial contributor to the UN and contributes $81 million annually.

the UN doesn't do anything it's just a check in on your neighbors and say hi party the UN should be stripped of all of its power and remain a neutral ground for nations to communicate in.
