All of Canada should use the Hydro-Quebec model

Nationalize the energy sector. Greedy private corporations shouldn't control the energy. Electricity should also be free to everyone but have a limit on how much you can use. Everyone should have electricity even if they cannot pay as long as they aren't a resource hog and it should be the federal government's responsibility.

Nationalize the energy sector while still allowing provinces to privatize temporarily to test new ideas

Decentralised but not necessarily privatized nor nationalized. Introduce more Co-ops and locally controlled energy

This is a provincial issue, isn't it. The federal government needs to work with the provinces, but it is the provinces jurisdiction to control energy costs; and yes, the energy should be controlled by the provincial government.

There is no benefit to the consumer with either of the answers. The question should be put up to the people in an educated way

Though I do recognize that competition in the past has driven costs of services down, at this point i believe a nationalized system will help drive down prices and drive innovation up, allowing money to stay within the Canadian economic system. I do believe we allow private companies to compete.

Energy policies vary by province. For example, Alberta's electricity sector is largely privatized, while other provinces have different approaches.
