No, but higher education should be free for all Canadian born students only. We should also be promoting the trades rather than everyone getting useless university degrees.

This question is unclear. What does finanically accountable for a debt mean? Does the University owe that debt to another body? If so, No. they cannot become responsible for a student's financial situation. That is ridiculous so I cannot think that is what is meant by the question.
@9HCP7QV1yr1Y
No. It is the student’s responsiblity to manage their financial outcome. Student loans should be harder to acquire and only applicable to certain programs.

Stop the government from giving out student loans and universities will be forced to lower tuitions or have no students.
@9FPKZXK2yrs2Y
I only dependent if the students can or can't pay for it.
@9FP3QX22yrs2Y
University should never be paid. Paid university is a system that only serves to keep the lower class in poverty.
@B38NB7T2mos2MO
No, higher education should be free for everyone and the government should be held accountable for the state of the labour pool and wages.
@B2TWT9H2mos2MO
No, it was the students choice to study in a university. Knowing the tuition fees are high. I know that it is hard, but nothing is impossible if they have the drive or determination to make up for their financials.
