Health care is a Federal responsibility. The health of Canadians is the Canadian governments responsibility.

I prefer a hybrid system where certain aspects of healthcare should be handled provincially, with Federal oversight to ensure there is regulation to not privatize our system. Healthcare should be a right not a privilege. I think a country's government should be responsible for ensuring our most vulnerable citizens are taken care of.

It should be shared with many checks and balances to make sure neither one has the ability to dismantle or change it. No privatization and a lot of accountability from both the feds and the provincial govt. Whent he feds send money it should all go to Healthcare!

I feel like it does not matter if it is provincial or federal, just as long as it is available to every citizen.

The constitution clearly lays out that healthcare is a provincial responsibility. The Canada Health Act usurps this delegation, but Healthcare is Provincial.

Both should work together to ensure higher standards, better way of pay, and equality within the healthcare system.
