Same-sex marriage is already legal nationwide and should be treated as a human right rather than a privilege that can be denied.

 @8DMWLTNfrom British Columbia  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, of course, but acknowledge that this is not the most pressing issue faced by LGBT communities

 @8GYDPCFfrom British Columbia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8SCVY6Tfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Take the government out of marriage and instead make it a decision between two people

 @9VY8XFTfrom British Columbia  answered…6mos6MO

This is a normality in every day society, so to-reverse gay marriage would be moving backwards, I feel the question is no longer relevant.

 @9K5RHCFfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

i don’t support it nor deny it. i simply don’t care as long as ALL set religions are not forced to continue providing ceremonies for these marriages.

I am a Christian and so my belief on same sex relationships is that it is a sin and not what God made Male and Female for, as it is an abomination and was created by the Devil

 @B3TXX27from British Columbia  answered…1mo1MO

People should be able to be with and marry whomever they want so this question is irrelevant and obvious in my opinion

 @B4D9DQYfrom British Columbia  answered…3wks3W

I think that the government should not have anything to do with marriage. Its really not my problem. If people find the same interest of the same sex cool. its really not my problem if people get married to the opposite sex cool also not my problem. I am not gay myself but its really not in my power to change it.

 @B49S5T9Conservativefrom British Columbia  answered…3wks3W

I 100 percent support the legalization of same sex marriage, how ever considering that federally same sex marriage has been legal for 20 years and even earlier at most provincial levels, I struggle to see the relevance here.

 @9FM9QN9from British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, if that's the way of life they want then let them be as long as they're happy and not troubling others.

 @9ZDD5LGfrom British Columbia  answered…5mos5MO

 @9L687Z6from British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

personally no, but I don't believe in interfering with other peoples private lives as long as it doesn't incite harm to others.

 @9F46ZC8from British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

i think everyone has a choice with their life, but i don’t support it fully but i think same sex marriage can be allowed

 @9DWMCNJfrom British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

It its your choice but don't force a church that doesn't want to to have wedding

 @9W6SMJ8from British Columbia  answered…6mos6MO

Yes, I believe people should get a choice, but it is a debatable topic that for me, is a difficult decision

People should be allow to marry who ever they want there should be no form of government or religious organization unless the couple chose

 @8QJR54Wfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

same sex marriage doesn’t bother me so i’m okay with it but also a bit confused about it.

 @8Z3NTKVfrom Ontario  commented…3yrs3Y

it's the same as a man and woman marrying lol nothing to be confused about

 @9VJ7N4Zfrom British Columbia  answered…7mos7MO

Too much emphasis on this let people marry either sex but stop ramming all this LGBQ down everyones faces. There is way too much attention on this matter.

I believe there should be no issue with it but social pressure of acceptance is not needed, everyone is entitled to their opinions to a moral and ethical extent.

 @8ZCH4KQfrom British Columbia  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8Z82ZM2from British Columbia  answered…3yrs3Y

I don't have issue with this either way. I don't discriminate against others sexual orientation and freedom to express. I do have to say for the purpose of your survey, I have never understood why it has become so prevalent, but perhaps from an interest in psychology. But yeah, ' Live and Let Live...100%

I honestly dont really care about it. If 2 guys/girls want to get married, then ok, they can do whatever they want. I have no part in it

 @8WM2VSWfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

yes! and church's have to accept same sex marriage. they don't have to accept it.

 @8VZ88NMfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

It should be legalized and same sex couples should have the same rights as straight couples.

 @8VVZQJJLiberalfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

I don’t support it but won’t go out of my way to make it illegal or try to (protesting, evolving in against groups etc)

 @8VMRR6Vfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

I personally don’t care. If you wanna marry same sex do it and if you don’t you don’t

 @8VMDLDKfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VK54NPfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

I don’t support it but I am also not against it as it’s an individual choice

 @8V8K7PHfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TY3NC3from British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Separate the two concepts buried in the word marriage. Same sex partners should be able to establish the contract which gives them the same rights as male/female marriages. Churches should administer the covenant agreement between the individuals and God. Churches should be allowed to limit this according to their religious beliefs (how can you have a covenant with a God with whom you don't agree?)

I do not support it, but that doesn't mean that my personal opinion should affect them

 @8RCMXHKfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

yes, but I think people can have there own believes but i think its okay but should be still respected for there choices.

 @8R39QTRfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Marriage is not a legal issue and should not be a concern of government.

 @8L7QN26Conservativefrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

I think everyone has a choice but make it so that those who choose different are not harmed for what they choose.

 @8KJ9LY5from British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but keep the government out of it. It dose not need to be religious

 @8KB8B3Vfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

I believe people have the right to choose but the government must stop indoctrinating the youth and the rest of society about gay marriage, trans-gender, etc.

 @8K26MK9from British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

I think people should have the right to do what they want but the government needs to stop indoctrinating and pushing it to the society and youth.

 @8H3837Lfrom British Columbia  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes 100% the government shouldn't have to decide what sex your prohibited to marry, or be involved. It's honesty none of their business to have to right to decide what's right and wrong for a individual.

 @8FVDVGFfrom British Columbia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8FD65RHfrom British Columbia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @99SFVZ9from British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but do not call it a marriage and churches have the right to refuse ceremonies.

 @97V5M8Wfrom British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

 @979NCC3from British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

I feel that it is okay if that’s what you want to do but it’s not something I am comfortable around

 @93KJD86from British Columbia  answered…3yrs3Y

This isn't even really a government issue is it? A marriage is a religious Church ceremony. The church makes the rules. I think same sex couples should be able to receive all the same government benefits that married couples do.

 @8VN56M6from British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

I think they same sex marriage should be allowed. Simply because it is between two People. But mainly also because it had nothing to do with me.

less pride parades but its fine

 @MadisonR69from Alberta  commented…4yrs4Y

Why less pride parades? They haven’t been around too too long, and it’s to remember the Stonewall Riots, which was a huge turning point in the gay rights movement.
