Even Mark Carney in his stance identified that the gun crime issues in Canada come from illegally smuggled American guns

The amount of gun crime committed by legally owned guns in the hands of legal gun owners is almost a negligible statistic. Our gun laws are already rigorous and extensive. The increased regulation is highly costly to solve a problem that doesn't exist.
