How would your perspective on college change if tuition were free, and how might that impact society?

If college tuition were free, access to education would improve, reducing financial stress for students. This could create a more skilled workforce and lessen income inequality, benefiting society with increased innovation and social mobility. Overall, it would promote lifelong learning and enhance quality of life.

More people would go to college and society would become smarter

I feel like that there would be a need for more employment because of the amount of people that have a greater education / tuitions.

I believe that people will misuse the system the same way people are taking high school and even elementary for granted.

If tuitions were free everyone will start going to college as they are getting a good education system just for cheaper.

I don't believe college tuition should be free. While I agree that tuition is far more expensive then it should be, I believe college isn't for everyone. To maintain balance across the workforce we need people who achieve higher levels of education. In contrast, those who may not want to or cannot pursue post-secondary education find alternatives.

I think that would be a bad idea as everyone would have a college degree, and you wouldn't really have anything to compete for when applying for a job because everyone would have a degree; therefore, it would ultimately become useless.

i think if tuition was free and living wasn't, I'd be happy. do too the price of living it makes it very hard to pay for tuition and living at the same time
