It should be free, it would help society and people don't have to worry about student loan debt.

I believe it would open opportunities for people who struggle with financials to help them better themselves

More students would be able to become doctors, for instance, and that could help the healthcare problem

Education should be accessible to everyone. There are too many barriers for marginalized groups to have equal influence in our current system.

Free tuition could lead to more people that have the ability for a profession to be in more appropriate positions.

I think that this could effect the economy slightly, and this could change the diffuculty of how people work and their effort into their jobs, but from my perspective as a high-school student, this is enticing however, this makes it seem that it wouldnt be as high of a qualty of schooling.

I think a postsecondary education would be super common and the education would be higher.

Jobs would become more competitive and wages would be less because more people would be educated.

Especially for healthcare, where we are struggling to keep emergency rooms open province wide, it should be free. We need more doctors and nurses, so making this schooling free would open up more opportunities and hopefully fill those vacant spaces. However, I don’t see why all schooling should be free as it would enable “professional students”.

 @9W2CN68from British Columbia  answered…6mos6MO

it would make it easier for the lower class people to go to school that can afford it.

 @9W2CHZHfrom British Columbia  answered…6mos6MO

I think it would mean more people could be educated and have good careers, by keeping them off the streets and having a reliable source of income.

 @9VZZJDMfrom British Columbia  answered…6mos6MO

this would help society with paying taxes and bills since everything is already so expensive.

As College/University degrees have basically become a requirement for almost all meaningful employment, they should be included as a part of the basic education system.

Free Tuition could lead to a lack of care toward the university and lack toward what makes a university a university.

 @9VKPSDPfrom British Columbia  answered…6mos6MO

Unfair for the students who had to pay. Society would be more educated but less productive in the short term

 @9VHLKZC from British Columbia  answered…7mos7MO

If tuition were free a lot more people would be going to college because there are smart people but sometimes they don't have enough money to go to school because it cost so much.

 @9VXFBPFfrom British Columbia  answered…6mos6MO

I think a lot more people will have the opportunity to further their education and pursue careers they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to but I think there’s greater discussion to be had in the topic.

I think it would impact society greatly in a positive way, making smart people able to get a higher education if they come from a lower income area.
