In order to reduce energy costs, should the government nationalize or privatize the energy sector?
Privatize, but increase environmental and regulatory oversight for price control
Costs get thrown down the ladder to the consumer aka citizens. You can carbon tax the privatized company but they will increase energy prices to the final consumer which in turn creates a never ending cycle of BS.
