I dearly hope that one day war is completely eliminated, but I highly doubt that it will be in my life time along with my future children. Since humans or peoples immediate solution to any situation is always violence, this is very unlikely to happen. Maybe someday we will learn to settle our differences and disagreements with words instead of nuclear power and bloodshed. Humans are complicated and history tends to repeat itself. So to answer the question, no I do not think that the human race will ever reach a point where war is completely gone.
