I see family as a group of people who know you best and always have your back, regardless of blood relation.

The idea of 'family' is fundamentally irrelevant to government; government should largely be concerned with the protection of the rights of individuals.

"Family values" is one of the most toxic and dangerous terms in politics of the last 50 years, and usually just a by-word for homophobia and sexism.

A family is a group composed of a father(male) and a mother (female) with their children in which this family is centered in love.

When I first think of the word, family, I think of parents, siblings and such, but I think you can consider anyone close to you as family, such as close friends. You also may not consider blood relatives as family due to lack of relationship or a bad relationship with them.

A "family" is a unit that one sees themselves as close to, whether they be related to others in it or not. I use to think of it as exclusive to blood relatives.

Family: a group of people you interact with on a regular basis that make you feel safe and accepted.

Family is a group of your own people. Family is the way to be kind, loving, and be cared for by one another.

a family is a unit of people who depend on one another. It does not have to be defined by blood, but by closeness to one another.

The definition of family is dependent on every citizen. I believe that family can extend past blood.
