Probably not with the world leaders we get, but maybe some time in the far away future we could

 @9J2W6M6from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No. War is inevitable. Ever since the very first humans, there has been war. The only thing that could every STOP wars. Is genetically engineering the human species to be "kinder"

 @9J4FZTDfrom Alberta  agreed…1yr1Y

There will always be some people who disagree with each other, as long as we have separations of countries, people are greedy and will want to expand their land. Everyone has their own religions, beliefs, political stances and so we will never truly be rid of these clashes.

 @9JVLNT8Conservativefrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No because there will always be a difference in opinions

 @9JWLH89Conservativefrom British Columbia  agreed…1yr1Y

There will be people who have the same opinion on something, but there will always be people who have an opposite opinion, which could lead to more issues snd debacles.

 @9JJWHCKfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

yes but not in the near future with the amount of war still happening

 @9JM8LNCfrom Alberta  disagreed…1yr1Y

As long as religion, media misinformation and lack of education (in terms of how people determine their views on certain issues eg: relying on Facebook) exists, there will always be war and it will continue to escalate.

 @9JK7HMSfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Conflict will always exist, there is no way to please everybody. However, I believe that humans are capable of learning the art of tolerance and acceptance. So, yes. I like to think that someday, war will be an idea of the past and we can all communicate peacefully with one another.

 @9JPH7VNConservativefrom Ontario  disagreed…1yr1Y

Even with the threat of the end of the human race due to nuclear war conflict still exists. If that won’t deter then nothing will.

 @9JK6DPTLiberalfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

yes however not in the near future with the amount of war there is right now

 @9JPWMB3from Ontario  disagreed…1yr1Y

Wars will most likley never end because man will always fight for what they want and what is theres.

 @9JK6CLVfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, I think there will always be some kind of conflict, big or small.

 @9JLJWT3from British Columbia  agreed…1yr1Y

As larger and more pressing matters are resolved, people will begin to turn to smaller and smaller matters until eventually people will pick on the way something is done even if it has been accepted that way for a long time. In this world while large conflicts are resolved and there are no major threats to the larger population, I believe there will always be something that people disagree on.

 @9HJM38Tfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

War is already obsolete, but it will take a long time, perhaps forever for countries to realize this.

 @9HDV4JKfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

as much as i wish for no war or unnecessary death, we as humans will never get over ourselfs. there will always be conflict, just different reasons why the conflict is happening.

 @9HDV9WYfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

possibly, war has been a thing since humanity were able to begin fighting so it's unlikely that war will ever not be a thing

 @9TDFHRVfrom Alberta  answered…7mos7MO

No, there will always be someone who will want to fight someone or something else for all kinds of reasons, no matter how petty or insignificant.

 @9TB6JG5from Alberta  answered…7mos7MO

 @9T8FDXGfrom Alberta  answered…7mos7MO

In all likelihood as long as there are people in power who are capable of waging war, the global conquest of conflict will never end until there is no one left to wage it. However, that does not mean that we shouldn't try to put an end to violent national conflict.

 @9T7VDLCConservativefrom Alberta  answered…7mos7MO

no because where ever there is peace and joy there is another place suffering.

 @9T5RTV7from Alberta  answered…7mos7MO

Unfortunately it is unlikely. Judging by history and present times it seems as though humanity is incapable of avoiding repeated mistakes, however it is always a hope and a goal to strive towards. There are few things that would benefit both the world and the human race more than peace, however I do not believe that humans will allow coexistence as many feel superiority or greed which very often leads to violence.

 @9J4RQXPConservativefrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

It may take time, but I do believe at some point the Earth will have to come to a consensus.

 @9J47LK6from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

 @9J32JDZfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, because there will always be issues happening and always people who will want to escalate those conflicts

 @9J2FWYZfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

NEVER we would all die if we did not fight anymore the competition would be gone we would have business shut down because our competition would be gone and video games are now a days are war games mostly.

 @9HZ5PVBLiberalfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

I think that we will eventually reach a point where war is obsolete and there is just peace. However, I believe that that idea will take long before it turns into reality as it can be hard for people to set their differences aside.

 @9HKDD88Conservativefrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

 @9HHQ4GJRhinocerosfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No. We will always have war due to war being "disagreements" to the extreme.

 @9T3PHHPfrom Alberta  answered…7mos7MO

I don't think humanity will ever reach a point where war is obsolete, however, violent conflicts may at some point die down and will be replaced with trade wars or technological wars.

 @9JRD6R9People’s from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Probably not, in life you can’t have something and another person want the same thing

 @9K4W63Wfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

I want to believe that we will reach a point where leaders realize that war is not worthy it but I don't think that they will.

 @9JZ344Yfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

not at all. I don't think humans will ever rise above petty violence to solve a country's problems.

 @9JWL386Liberalfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Absolutely not. People are always going to be fighting, that's the way people are it's basically put into our genetics to hurt those we feel threatened by.

 @9JWL2V5from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

I think eventually people will destroy the earth, whether it is a cause of war or we destroy the planet with our carelessness.

 @9JWG8GXfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No we will not, countries and leaders have inflated egos about their country and will always want to prove that they are the strongest.

 @9JSJPNJLiberalfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

In an ideal society, yes. Unfortunately war and suffering is ingrained in human nature and may never end. One person's utopia is another's dystopia.

 @9JQHVYJfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, it’s in our nature to fight that will never change especially with money involved.

 @9HPFPHSNew Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No because too many people corrupt political systems for greed unfortunately

 @9JXQ6Y7 from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

I am hoping we will, and replace war with rational discussions held by educated people.

 @9JRDTXXfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Maybe, only until we start to realize there is bigger problems than humans against humans. But with national desires and evil in the world, it is an open ending question.

 @9JL9B9Wfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No because there is always something that people, countries are always fighting about rights or just a lot of conflicts to discuss. So I think that the Anti- war will never become obsolete.

 @9JL8YHFfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

no because each country has there own leader, which tends to be hard to find peace between eachother/country.

 @9JB5TJBfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No because it is literally impossible for all the governments to get along and have the same opinions.

 @9K4HVNGfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Not with the advancements in technology. It'll only get worse from here on out.

 @9JZ63NBfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Maybe if the governments and people start to actually think of what they are doing

 @9JZ3NDTfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JXPTTBLiberalfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, I think there will always be one person who wants war and wants to be on top and be the best country. I feel conservatives will always seek out being the best country and wants to make it known to other countries who want to be better.

 @9JWYKLBfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JT7MX8from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Knowing people, we always find something to fight about. As amazing as it would be to have a perfectly peaceful society around the globe, it isn't realistic.

 @9JRN8F9from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JRDPLXfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Yes because currently around the world we have organizations that unify some of the world’s strongest powers (The United Nations). Organizations such as this pose so much power and strength, to the point where they can intervene and resolve any conflict. Which is why there are no global conflicts, although there is still minor conflicts throughout the world. Eventually when all nations reach a certain level of development and unify, war will become obsolete.

 @9JR9GDYfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No. It is in human nature to have some form of greed for power, money, or control. Some of those in power do not keep their ego in check which therefore leads to conflict and eventually violence.

 @9JQ9BG8Libertarianfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JMGHCZfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

The human race will never reach that point as greed trumps above hummanity.

 @9JLG2F7New Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, because war pushes nations to grow and develop eventually putting the strongest one on top.

 @9JKTX64from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No due to the fact of humans being selfish and greedy and war and conflict with others will always seem like a way to feel powerful.

 @9JKTF72from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No because war is human nature, with those acting on their feeling rather than speaking!

 @9K5ZCZCfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

no, it is in human nature to kill each other, that will forever remain, we will just get better weapons to kill each other

 @9JWL2XKfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, but only if the right people make the right moves and everyone is willing to listen.

no i think humans will always want to fight someone else or in this case countries wanting to fight other countries. the natural human response is the fight or get offended and that's why i think we will never get passed war.

 @9JVLMJBfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

 @9J8J744from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, there are too many male leaders who dont know how to peacefully run a country.

 @9J75VFNfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

I believe we should work towards building a peaceful world with less wars. I support an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the ongoing and current Gaza-Israel war as that's what majority of Canadians and the world wants, we should Free Palestine and create a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, I say the same for the Russia-Ukraine war. Nonetheless, I don't believe it's in Canada's interest to be involved in all of these foriegn wars as it's not worth it.

 @9JT3N3Hfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

 @9J7RKCTfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

I don’t think so, I hope so but it seems like tensions keep getting greater between various groups.

 @9JZ46Z3 from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

I think that in a few centuries thee will be fewer if none wars, but there will be more rebellions within governement systems that could become constitute a war.

 @9JKTYZJfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

I believe war is something harder to avoid, especially since our own country does not even get along

 @9JKDKZ8Conservative from Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, someone will always want someone else dead. Even if there are only 2 people on earth.

 @9J9PHBQfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

I believe at best it will simply change from people fighting people to control of resources being used to force others instead.

 @9J7MFXGfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

I think that its possible however with how recently wars have still happened I don't think it will happen in the near future
