I hope so, we need a time where we can resoulve our problems with words, not weapons.

 @9HZBZV3from Ontario  disagreed…1yr1Y

I don’t ever think the entire world is gonna be against wars and violence especially because we can’t all agree on anything never mind conflicts

 @9J3KJMK from Ontario  disagreed…1yr1Y

I believe it is superficial to have a world where war is obsolete because the world in itself faces hundreds of obstacles. Such as political tensions, cultural differences, grievances, and to mention it is innate for us to feel some aspect of competition and self protection.

eventually everyone will have weapons of mass destruction and no wars would be able to happen without the planet wiping out itself

 @9J4CK2Qfrom Ontario  disagreed…1yr1Y

As technology advances, there will be better and better ways to defend and counter attacks from said weapons of mass destruction

 @9J45M9Ffrom Ontario  agreed…1yr1Y

maybe people will eventually realize that if there IS a nuclear war. NO ONE will come out victorious... because no one will be left...

 @9HN5ZG3New Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

Since the human race is complicated the likelihood of that happening is very low.

 @9HN9T36New Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

No, war is a product of greed and bigotry, these traits will always exist in humanity. As long as someone has power over someone else, they will want more, and they will hate people for it

 @9HLH4KWNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

No, I dont think the human race will ever reach a point where we arent fighting and killing each other. The human race is the most inhumane thing to touch the planet.

 @9HJ9GD4New Democraticfrom Manitoba  answered…1yr1Y

I don’t think they will every reach this goal because humans will always be greedy and always want something else.

 @9JZVYL6New Democratic from British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, war is only helpful for those who don't have to fight them and more and more people are beginning to realize this.

 @9HPFPHSNew Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No because too many people corrupt political systems for greed unfortunately

 @9K56FMFNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

I think that the human race will most likely not reach this point. It is has been a part of our species for as long as we’ve existed and it has been a repeating pattern in history. Humans are selfish and we will continue fighting over resources.

 @9K4SSM6New Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

If we keep this country as a peacemaker, we won't have issues with any wars. In the case that a war or multiple break down, I think that maybe the human race would reach a point of wars being obsolete

 @9JYVQYDNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

I don't think the human race will reach a point where war is obsolete due to the fact there will still e many conflicts in the world.

 @9JXQXPHNew Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

I support antiwar but there are too many people on the earth that have different opinions to be at peace with each other.

 @9JWL9MCNew Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

I think we will probably come to an agreement because missiles and causing fires and all kinds of war related issues are harmful for the environment.

  @LeftAnglicanNew Democratic from Manitoba  answered…1yr1Y

No. The human nature does not allow a realistic scenario where we exist without war.

 @9J7SMJPNew Democratic from British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes. We cannot eliminate conflict, but we can eliminate war. When we reach a point where we recognize that our shared humanity supersedes our differences and that nation states are an outdated concept, we will be near to eliminating war (or organized violence carried out on a large scale for political ends.)

 @9J6DWKVNew Democraticfrom Quebec  answered…1yr1Y

I am a pacifist, yet sadly I am most certain that world peace is practically unattainable no matter how hard we try, war will always exist as long as man exist. Yet I still believe that if we can prevent the most wars as possible then that would be better than nothing. I believe in giving more power to institutions like the UN or WHO or RedCross to help developing countries and ongoing war issues.

No. As unfortunate as it is, sometimes, we must fight for what we believe in.

 @9JVN2KNNew Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

I want to hope that it will reach a point of peace, but logically, history usually repeats itself so the likely hood is sadly low.

 @9JLG2F7New Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, because war pushes nations to grow and develop eventually putting the strongest one on top.

I feel like if more women went into power and we actually voted more women to be our leaders then yeah

 @9K4P5Z9New Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

Only if there is no more capitalism. This is as the military-industrial complex is extremely profitable, and the need for money trumps humanity under capitalism.

 @9JYMWCLNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

It's impossible to get a large group of people to agree on the same issue. I highly doubt this will change on a global scale.
