No. There will always be people who work for their own benefit. Wars are caused by the selfishness of a few in power.

 @9HX66QSfrom Washington  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, I feel that a large part of the world has become much more peaceful as it has become more wealthy. We have realized the free market and peace is a superior method for producing wealth in the world. This trajectory will be followed by worlds poor, I hope.

 @9J3YLSZfrom Ontario  disagreed…1yr1Y

The world is based on survival and no matter how "peaceful" we've gotten over the years countries and their leaders will always have some sort of problem with other country/leader. Its just human nature.

 @9K3QDX5Conservativefrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

no maybe we can in the human race but not with extra terrestrials

 @9K7ML3FGreendisagreed…1yr1Y

Impossible to have everyone agree on something. Will always be conflicts, and those who will stand behind their beliefs at all costs.

 @9JVLNT8Conservativefrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No because there will always be a difference in opinions

 @9JWLH89Conservativefrom British Columbia  agreed…1yr1Y

There will be people who have the same opinion on something, but there will always be people who have an opposite opinion, which could lead to more issues snd debacles.

 @9HDT45Dfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, I hope humans get to the point where everyone works together and comes to peace but I think it will take a long time before we reach that point.

No, humans disagree and often disagree violently. Nations also disagree violently

 @9T7VDLCConservativefrom Alberta  answered…7mos7MO

no because where ever there is peace and joy there is another place suffering.

 @9T6H6Z7from Ontario  answered…7mos7MO

I believe war will never end, regions and religions all have different believes, I don't think we will ever not have war but we can come to agreements and work together to prevent them.

 @9T66X4TConservativefrom Ontario  answered…7mos7MO

eventually everyone will have weapons of mass destruction and no wars would be able to happen without the planet wiping out itself

 @9JLGHHZConservativefrom Nova Scotia  answered…1yr1Y

I would like to hope so, but for nearly all of humanity’s history war has been a part of it. War nowadays has turned into politicians and powerful groups sending young people to die to advance their agendas. One can only hope people will learn to set aside their differences to prevent needless deaths

 @9J4RQXPConservativefrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

It may take time, but I do believe at some point the Earth will have to come to a consensus.

 @9J4Q7Q9 from Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

It's hard to say. Greed will always exist unfortunately. Greed always leads to war. Its the reason why the West attack other countries for resources, thus legal immigrants come to the Western countries since their places are destroyed or damaged.

War helps generate money unfortunately, the top five oil companies (Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell, BP and TotalEnergies) have made over 134 billion dollars off the Ukranian war. Its very wrong to use war as a way to make money when lives are lost. So abolishing greed would be impossible even with heavy and strict accountability but you can try your best to lessen it as much as possible. We could have a century of peace if the right steps are taken very very carefully (slim chance) but war being obsolete is beyond reach.

I believe that it is possible for the human race to reach a point where war is obsolete. As we continue to progress and evolve as a society, there is hope for increased understanding, diplomacy, and the pursuit of peaceful resolutions. It will require collective efforts, open dialogue, and a commitment to resolving conflicts through non-violent means. While it may take time and effort, striving for a world without war is an important goal worth pursuing.

 @9K3QCTZConservativefrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

i dont see a time in the world that there would be absolute piece withy no war

 @9JZGFSNfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

No, religious and ideological extremists will always exist. If anything Canada needs to increase our military presence and foreign involvement to a large degree to make a better contribution to free ideals and thought.

 @9JYXBXNConservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

Worldwide, no because of conflict between other countries, but in Canada, I think it is mostly anti-war.

 @9JWNLH6from British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

No. War never changes, people never change. war might slow down but there will always be conflict and I believe at some point it could end the world because of the power of some countries.

 @9JQHVYJfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, it’s in our nature to fight that will never change especially with money involved.

 @9HLZ3DDConservativefrom Saskatchewan  answered…1yr1Y

Human race is important and think war would not be a good solution to it though

 @9JZMBGWConservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

no, I think it is in the corrupt human nature to go to extreme lengths for power and control

 @9JYWP2Tfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

I think we may eventually due to the fact that war will become too nuclear and cause too much damae too the point that it is ended immidietly when it starts

 @9JXLW97from British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

no. not in the slightest. in a perfect world maybe but even then there were aways be conflicts and someone is always gonna want the bigger weapon.

 @9JWKY77Conservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

No, I do not think so as at one point we will realize that the technology we have for war can destroy the entire world in minutes.

 @9JWKVT6Conservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

No, I do not think the war will ever reach the point where it is obsolete. I believe that it will get worse.

 @9JWBVF7Conservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

no i think war is in human blood whether it is a world war or a war with a friend it is in our blood.

 @9JVVX2BConservative from Saskatchewan  answered…1yr1Y

I think the human race will reach a point where war is obsolete when the human race can be at peace with each other and agree on the problems that are causing them issues, but it would take time.

 @9JRZ9GXConservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

no war will always be a thing people are always fighting and angry with eachother

I believe that people no matter if war is necessary or not, will create conflicts that are violent and that will lead to destruction.

 @9K3NDT9Conservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

I don't think that there will ever be a time when the human race will experience complete world peace.

 @9JVRG8WConservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

If nations begin to work closer together to benefit all nations then hopefully.

 @9JVMDVDConservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

I feel like we can reach that point, but there will need to be a common enemy or common goal. I think it will come when we have more space exploration way in the future. We will never be totally free from war however.

 @9JT4LKTConservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

I think that the human race would be at a point where the war is obsolete because of how much technology has been growing and that the human race could be depleted once that war happens

 @9JNSVKYConservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

No because war has created countries and is a show of power amongst global levels.

 @9J7VVDJConservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

"I hope that, as a society, we can work towards a future where war becomes obsolete. It would require global efforts in diplomacy, understanding, and addressing the underlying causes of conflicts. While it might be a challenging goal, taking steps towards peace and cooperation is essential for a better world."

 @9K4LXDXConservativefrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

I don't, because there will always be stupid people who want to rule and be the better person, president, country, etc.

 @9JYBN45Conservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, the concept of war as a violent game and encounter will no longer exist. But conflicts will ever exist

 @9JWQSZHConservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

As technology advances, there will be better and better ways to defend and counter attacks from said weapons of mass destruction

 @9JWLH89Conservativefrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

The human race will ever reach a point where war is obselete when they find a way to get a long with each other through seeking equal respect.

 @9JVWBMFConservativefrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

no i think humans will always want to fight someone else or in this case countries wanting to fight other countries. the natural human response is the fight or get offended and that's why i think we will never get passed war.

If humanity is one step away from extinction it will. But until then its unlikely to happen. So long as people from different places exist they'll want to kill one another.

 @9K7FM3QConservativefrom Manitoba  answered…1yr1Y

There may be a point 20 thousand years from now if we manage to survive that long. Then we would probably have wars with other alien civilizations.

 @9JYYSGBConservativefrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y
