Hunters and people who inherit their grandfather's gun, should register their guns, and agree that there should be a cooling off period when purchasing a gun makes sense. Also agree that each person who applies for a permit must be free of criminal offenses, free of mental illness, etc. Criminals are always going to find a way to get a gun, no matter what you do. Making it harder for an honest person to get a gun is not only unfair, it's unCanadian.
