No, not until all Electrical Energy on our power grid is generated with clean energy, nuclear energy is the real answer, charging batteries with power generated by burning fossil fuels actually is more harmful.

Not yet, batteries are not quite ready for Canadian winters, especially in colder regions, so until then there are adequate advances we should wait

Yes, if it’s economically and ecologically viable, with encouragement towards making greener/more-profitable advancements and alternatives/alterations. No, if we’re unprepared to meet the requirements of an all-electric public transport model.

it would need to have a diesel electric hybrid so that they dont need to charge or mine lithium the diesel engine would be purely for a generator

I feel that even though vehicles are being improved so that they are electric. But in some cases what will happen if the power runs out then your stuck, because you broke down, or you end up waiting a few hours recharging the battery of you vehicle. So we are trying to get rid of gas. But I feel there should be exceptions for things like that.

In a community, they should be able to use gas because it's less being used up because you're not going as far, but for travelling from one community to the other, it should be electric.

When the cost is right and vehicles need to be changed then look at a more environmentally favourable one

 @9CBKRP7from Saskatchewan  answered…2yrs2Y

yes batteries are harmful as well, but slowly switching to electrical transportation will be more beneficial in the long run.

 @9C8HZ72from Saskatchewan  answered…2yrs2Y

Although it is better for the planet it’s not going to take us where we need to be because it will run out of power
