The transportation sector is the main contributor of greenhouse gases. One initiative towards mitigating these gases is sustainable transportation, with significant reductions in emissions in this sector.

No, not until all Electrical Energy on our power grid is generated with clean energy, nuclear energy is the real answer, charging batteries with power generated by burning fossil fuels actually is more harmful.
@9FJKDG92yrs2Y
Not yet, batteries are not quite ready for Canadian winters, especially in colder regions, so until then there are adequate advances we should wait
@8ZTMNF73yrs3Y
Yes, but a gradual change working towards that goal.
@8Z6P9KQ3yrs3Y
Yes, if it’s economically and ecologically viable, with encouragement towards making greener/more-profitable advancements and alternatives/alterations. No, if we’re unprepared to meet the requirements of an all-electric public transport model.
it would need to have a diesel electric hybrid so that they dont need to charge or mine lithium the diesel engine would be purely for a generator

I feel that even though vehicles are being improved so that they are electric. But in some cases what will happen if the power runs out then your stuck, because you broke down, or you end up waiting a few hours recharging the battery of you vehicle. So we are trying to get rid of gas. But I feel there should be exceptions for things like that.
yes, but keep it affordable for the users
@8VNWVPXConservative4yrs4Y
If there is enough money, than yes
@8VMSQQW4yrs4Y
In a community, they should be able to use gas because it's less being used up because you're not going as far, but for travelling from one community to the other, it should be electric.
@8VM844F4yrs4Y
It would be cool, but not necessarily possible.
@8VKXG624yrs4Y
When the cost is right and vehicles need to be changed then look at a more environmentally favourable one
@9CBKRP72yrs2Y
yes batteries are harmful as well, but slowly switching to electrical transportation will be more beneficial in the long run.
@9C8HZ722yrs2Y
Although it is better for the planet it’s not going to take us where we need to be because it will run out of power
@9C8BZCS2yrs2Y
i dont even know what the hell that means
@9B6LF4X2yrs2Y
we can put a number of them, but not all of them
@9B6LCPV2yrs2Y
no the batteries will die when the weather is too cold
@9B6L7VS2yrs2Y
i don't car as long as its free
@983LQNZ2yrs2Y
Yes but using power can also be dangerous to the environment
@97YHTXB2yrs2Y
Yes but not every place could use electric bus, like place to cold
@8WPCX4T3yrs3Y
depends on what they think is most important
