yes, but we truly need to understand the new issues we are causing with batteries regarding sustainability, recycling, environmental, etc. I believe we are too dependent on fossial fuels, but could just be replacing one bad option for another without proper planning and research.

Electric power is generated and stored in diverse ways depending on location. It may or may not be more environmentally friendly. This must be determined by experts at a local or case by case basis based on facts.

Sure, but where does the electric power come from? This is a ridiculous question - if you primary source of power is nuclear or coal - are you riding on an electric bus or a nuclear or coal powered bus -

yes, however if the electric part fails there should be fossil fuels to keep up with what schedule is
