Having electric cars means having to dig up more of the battery sources and that is destroying the earth and the gas we use for our cars is less destructive and we have no other use for it where the battery for cars can be used for other things.

I think the rich and people who earn enough money to sustain themselves should be subsidizing to find a renewable energy source. But the poor who don't earn enough money shouldn't have this brought upon them.

Provinces should own renewable energy sources as crown corporations, and use any profits for the provincial common good (eg MB Hydro)
