Should the federal government elect or abolish the Senate?

Direct democracy over "representation". I don't feel any representation with the current govt. And too much corruption

Every province gets 10 senators, appointed by the provincial legislature. That way then the electorate changes it's will at a provincial election they can change the makeup of the federal government.

Leave as is but promote outstanding Canadians rather than political partisans

Abolish the Senate. The senate has no place in the government as they are not elected. It is wrong to have had picked appointed Senate. If the Senate has to exist the public should vote them in.

I think the senate is still necessary, just in case but we do need to have more strict rules for them so people actually show up and aren’t just using it for money because it’s costing Canada a lot.

The entire government should be reorganized into a Constitutional Republic with an elected head of state, elected MPs, and senators who serve 6 year terms, 33% of whom are up for election every 2 years.

Provinces should elect 2 senators each during the federal election.
