In that kind of situation I think no and they should just pay another person some form of trained weapons smith to be able to stay at the school during school hours in case something like that happens

Yes, but only if the guns are out of the reach of students. Every security guard should also carry a gun to protect from anyone trying to harm the teachers or the students and potentially themselves.

Yes, provided that
-They provide the weapon (no cost to taxpayers)
-They possess any state required carry permit
-They pass a range qualification test (they're competent as a shooter)
-The weapon is not kept on their person, but in a bio-access safe in a classroom/teacher lounge (fingerprint/iris lock)
-Only the Superintendent, Principal, Resource Officers, and other armed teachers know who is armed

How can you say no to this?

Yes, but those teachers need to have a Concealed Carry License and provide proof to the local Dean or school board. No veto.

Yes, but they should be required to take a certain number of hours of training by a certified (whether by the state or by a private organization) teacher.
