@6HQ4HQ54yrs4Y
Yes. But it should be up to the teachers and principal if they want to carry a gun and it has to be concealed with proper training.
@8CQF7VF3yrs3Y
Yes, as long as they are licensed and trained on how to use it and they are responsible enough not to lose it.
@riddlecongress5yrs5Y
If a teacher would like to carry to protect their students, they should be trained to do so safely. I believe our children are our most precious asset of this country every school should have a trained and armed guard to protect them. My plan would be to create a Federally funded program to hire returning veterans of our armed forces to protect our schools. These are men and women trained to run into danger, and as we saw in Parkland, the school resource officer was too afraid to go stop the shooter.
@8GMPK8G5yrs5Y
All teachers should be required to get there CCW and be allowed, not required, but allowed to carry at school.
@8HXMY825yrs5Y
Only if there is a threat or your school is in a high crime area.
@8JY4PW84yrs4Y

@8K5YCTW4yrs4Y
Yes, if they have the required training.
@8LCC7N74yrs4Y
Yes but the teachers need an ID to enter the building with a gun.
@8LKRCYD4yrs4Y
No, there could be accidental shootings, and racism still lies in schools, which can cause the gun being used when angered by a teacher or student.
@8LZGM3L4yrs4Y
They should have a protector weapon in their closet in case of school intruder.
@8MF2Z5Q4yrs4Y
There should be armed security guards.
@8PCT8574yrs4Y
Yes, Someone at the school should be armed as long as they have had a high amount of training.
@8PRKY7Q4yrs4Y
Yes, if there is a system that trains the teachers that want to carry a fire arm. Then they have a certification. But the school should have a say weather or not they want teachers to possess firearms in their school.
@8Q2VW3M4yrs4Y
There are some teachers I would not want carrying a gun but others yes.
@8RK4N9X4yrs4Y
Yes, because if there is a shooter in the school and the teachers don't have a gun to protect the students, then there is a chance that people might end up dying.
@8RW26DX4yrs4Y
No, schools should hire veterans from the community and have them guard with nonlethal weapons.
@8TKPJXZ4yrs4Y
Yes, but only after training, background checks and psychological testing.
@dandyman4yrs4Y
Yes, screened and registered individuals who have received training should have access to protect students
@8WPRNFR3yrs3Y
No, because that rises the murder rate
@8X3LCNH3yrs3Y
If security was tighter at the schools, there would be no need for teachers to have guns. Use scanners such as the ones in airports, walk-through style at the entrance of each school. If people can't get weapons in the school such as a knife or gun, teachers won't need one either.
@8VT28F44yrs4Y
